- If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll probably know that I love Indian food. From flavorful biryanis to succulent masalas, to street foods like pav bhaji, samosas, and pani puri, I can’t get enough.
In 2021, I took an amazing trip to the United Arab Emirates to experience the country’s best Indian food. I wound up spending several days in Dubai, a city known for its exceptional wealth, luxurious accommodations, and legendary nightlife. But it’s also one of the best cities outside of India to experience authentic Indian cuisine! I even caught up with my friend The Food Ranger for some incredible Indian Food!

I’ve eaten my way across the Indian subcontinent across four massive trips that took me to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Trivandrum. Along the way, I fell in love with the unique flavors, spices, and ingredients that Indian cuisine is known for.
With nearly 3 million people of Indian descent living in the UAE, it’s no surprise that their food has become an important part of the local culture. In this documentary, I’m taking you into Dubai with some special guests as we dive into the wonders of Indian food in the UAE. Let’s go!

Trevor seems like a lovely man . His wife Ting is really sweet too . I’ve followed his channel for years . He’s famous for his food noises when he approves of a certain item of food! Lol! I’ve noticed that he’s slowed down producing videos since the pandemic and hasn’t picked up again .
Trevor is a good friend and a true gentleman. He's also an incredible creator. As for production, thats the ups and downs of being a long time CZcams Creator. I have been to Sri Lanka and most of the tourists told me that Sri Lanka is a heaven for vegetarians. Mark Wein & the Food Ranger even had their series in Sri Lanka. It’s a heaven not only for vegetarians but for sea food lovers as well. The food is totally different to North Indian cuisine however, similar to some of the south Indian dishes. I would highly recommend you to do a Sri Lankan series and I am pretty sure that you would never regret it. I have watched most of your videos & absolutely love your content!!!!! From Toronto, Canada

We’re on the same page David I don’t like throwing away food. Sometimes when I have a big gathering, I have food left over I take the remaining food to a nearby shelter. We are blessed, but there are so many that are in need and we can’t forget about that. Thanks for sharing.😊

I love how in all his videos you see how much respect he has for their culture and for them when he shares food. The willpower it must've taken to not lick your fingers or wipe them I mean sure the licking of the fingers is bad table manners wherever you go but still top videos as always
I agree licking fingers is bad manners in all cultures including the Indian culture . It’s almost sacrilegious. A Hindu priest told me that it’s seen as taboo to lick your fingers after a meal accordance with the Hindu religion . Love David’s channel and the respect he has for different cultures

I would be really interested in you visiting the food in some other India locations. That would be Hardwar (Hari Dwara), Dwaraka, Vrindavan (in Uttara Pradesha [U. P.], Jaganatha Puri (in Oddisa [formally called Orrisa] and Mayapur (in West Bengal). Also I would be interested in you doing reviews of the Govinda's The Higher Taste restaurants. They are a chain of restaurants that specialize in India and India fusion cuisine. They have locations all over India and locations all over the world.

Lived in London for 10+ years. Tried them at Mr. basic - Jamie's to Mr. overpriced - Gordon to many other places and smaller cities of UK...still doesn't come close to Indian food maturity, flavours and diversity by a Trillion Light years. I mean the Scottish Haggis, or the rabbit meat pies in Oxford have more flavours that the boring and bland FnC. That's why if you take out Indian or other Asian food influences from UK....only Italian and French remain as decent food options.
