#Halo #E3 #HaloInfinite - Hudba
"It's enough to make a grown man cry, and that's okay."
Fr bruh 😭
I thought I was only 1…
Me right now 😭
I can’t believe this actually made me cry lol wtf
I did almost. Remembering all the good times I had twenty years ago with folks just doing this. Crazy
"This is Sierra-259. We've got Spartans on the ground sir. We're not going anywhere" - hypest shit ever
The best trailer god damn
I really wish that people today who are into the Bungie era Halos who weren't around for their original releases got to experience those releases first hand.
Halo 2 and Halo 3 specifically had a totally different form of hype around their releases that we just don't see today. They were such a big deal that national and local news covered them here in the US. It was a different time for gaming and I'm so happy that I was around for it.
So true! It was such a cultural impact that still have a little bit of a mark till this day. Almost like Star Wars back in the day.
I wish I could
there is a gamestop in the mall in my hometown that still has a cardboard Halo 3 display standing in the window. If the store is still there I bet it is still up
Halo 2 is a definitive part of my life, I remember those years so clearly. Open mic chats with total strangers, fragging for HOURS because we had never experienced anything like this before. Halo set the stage, I am glad I got to be a part of it.
Halo 2 is one of my personal favorites in the series, I'm sad I didn't get to fully understand and appreciate the times then, I was just too young and dumb
You know it was an other time when people cheers at mounted turrets
which is crazy considering we have completely mobile turrets on cars
cuz those were fun as hell
"ohhh shit this is Halo dude" love this reaction every time
The Halo Infinite reveal was so hype at the time. It's a little bit sad watching it back now. 😢
It definitely most certainly is
The campaign was pretty good, too bad the multiplayer flopped so hard
@@CyanTeamProductions I’m ngl I hated the campaign. The open world really hurt it in my opinion. Don’t think halo needs to try it again
@@HaleyPantonThat doesn't make it better.
@@CyanTeamProductionsif only we knew launching the multiplayer ahead of time would've foreshadowed a live-service halo game....
It lowkey hurts not to see ODST get an E3 announcement.
We got the gameplay reveal tho
Consider that was a "Small Proyect" if we put it Aside Halo Reach.
Man… halo 3 was just the pinnacle of gaming. To go back and relive that era. 😢
Take me back
Halo seems to have a weird tradition of what happens in the E3 trailers not appearing in game lol.
Hahahaha that's true!
For real , I still want to play that Halo 2 e3 build.
@@BTSSPARATAN 343 is working with a team of modders to restore cut Halo content to release for MCC on the steam workshop. They've already done a level from the OG Macworld build of CE, and I think they're still working on the Halo 2 Demo, but it is coming eventually.
@@jmc12331i think it also Applies for Halo 3 and 4, i don't know of they will do the same thing with Reach and Infinite.
In infinite’s trailer they showed a bunch of animals and different climates but most of that never appeared either…
That single piano note always makes me cry fuck man 😂😂
Aw man that dual wield reaction!
That was a highlight!
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will come close to the buildup that Halo 3 had. From the first teaser of Chief overlooking the Portal set to Finish the Fight, to the live action Believe campaign, the diorama and the masterpiece of a short directed by Neil Blomkamp that was Landfall......oh god it's all flooding back to me now. I was 17 when 3 released, and it has given me some amazing memories and friends for life. I haven't played Halo in nearly 2 years now, between life happening and Halo not feeling the same, I just can't get back into it like I used to, but Halo will always have a place in my heart. Been there since 01 and it will never leave me🫡
Coming back to these after E3 being cancelled this year hits different. Though I agree it’s easier for company’s to pre record their showcases and live stream them, it just sucks we might lose this format. We’ll never be able to recreate these experiences. E3, goodnight my sweet Prince 😪🫡
Bro it was cancelled for one year, fuckin relax.
@@RayArquero It was confirmed that there would be no E3 in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Get your facts straight.
Them “e3 experiences” died in 2015
@HotboxCoffin it was canceled last yr to dingle berry 😭
e3 was a stupid marketing gimmick, it was a waste of time and resources and the industry is better with it dead

No ODST?
@@ncmor3678Never got an e3 trailer but it still got a trailer.
Man that Halo 3 reveal announcement was something special.
Man, I remember seeing the Halo 2 demo when it was revealed.. the hype was so insane. I remember going as crazy as the crowd did when they showed off Dual Wield.
Halo Infinite was such a refresher, man. They played it so well to NOT make it obviously a Halo game with the most satisfying reveal in recent years.
This might not my favorite halo but definitely my favorite trailer…
I remember being optimistic after seeing those trailers. It felt like for a split second they figured it out.
@@Domi39 After recently replaying Halo Infinite campaign, I honestly really enjoyed my time, and loved the story and how it played out. Admittedly, I have not played Halo Wars 1 and 2, or Halo 5 at all, and I'm experiencing it from the perspective of only playing Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, Reach and 4.
too bad the most unsatisfying reveal in years was the state of the game
Too bad the reveal was where that game peaked. It was all downhill from there
I love how Halo 2 wasn't half the game that was promised/shown, and still, it exceeded all expectations.
Man the hype for Halo 3 was insane. No game will ever reach that kind of exictment before release ever again, it was almost like it was a big time movie abou to come out with how much people were talking about it.
Fact
Not much of a crowd reaction though.
@@Sangheili_Rawr because e3 back then was mostly media people. Media people have to be professional
Halo 3's release damaged the box office because the release kept people from going to the movies for 3 weeks...
@@abalrog42 ...Geddout! There's no way in hell that's true. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard in my life! There's no way that Halo 3 could ever have that big an impact.
Even as a OG Bungie Halo fan, I really enjoyed Infinite and I hope the saga continues, despite all the troubles they are facing!
That one piano note from Halo 3 in finish the fight is enough to make so many memories of not just the game but my loved ones come back to me. It hits me in the chest and i get chills, every time.
The 1st Halo Infinite Trailer showed so much potential. Even with the wildlife and such - what'd they lie to us. I'd love if whoever called the shots there to had a love of the series at hreat and tried to capture in game the beauty of this trailer
That 1st trailer looked like they were trying to tap into a lot of Halo's original mac world presentation. A fully explorable ring world complete with wildlife. A whole game that was open ended like the mission "halo" from CE. How wonderful that could have been.
If only Microsoft gave them more time and an actual good engine.
@@wut-se8hzThey had their heart in the right place. Just like how Bungie did with Halo 2's E3 demo.
Just like Bungie, Microsoft fucked 343 over. Infinite could've been so much better had they been given the proper resources.
I wasn’t born yet but I still love the old halos
Halo 3 reveal still gives me chills holy cow 🤯😱
Miss old halo man good memories
That halo 2 demo is a literal masterpiece 😢the best times to be a gamer
i like to think heaven is reliving our best experiences for the first time unlimited amount of times
a bit sad it cuts so early after each clip, I would love a good 10 seconds of excited fans
Dude can’t edit that’s why 😂😂😂
I remember waiting each summer for E3 man. The feels
Man i just cried.. so many memories. Gaming just isnt the same anymore.
Notice how people actully watched the trailers back then instead of screaming uncontrollably the whole time
Growing up in the early 2000s where internet wasn't as available as it is today, Halo 3's existence was so scarce to the public. We didnt know if there were any plans to continue after Halo 2.
When I watched watched E3 and saw the first news that Halo 3 was coming, my excitement was through the roof. Halo 3 defined the era of gaming back then.
I wish I had been old enough to attend all of these. Starting playing back when Reach came out. I even played the Gearbox Halo CE on my laptop at high school where we'd set up LAN parties during some classes. Ever since then Halo has always been my most played game on my Xbox and PC.
What a time to be alive
What I love about the Halo 2, 3, and reach reveals is that they where done in Engine. Prerecorded, sure; but you actually got to see what the games looked like, unlike today where 343 is more than willing to shill out for prerended trailers.
The Discover Hope trailer for Infinite was done in Engine.
@@Rogreedoa lot of it was still only 3d renders though
No fucking way m8 said that about h2
God if I could go back and play every halo again I would, when ever I think of halo it brings tears to my eyes I played halo 1 when I was 4 years old I'm now 18 and I've seen the rise and fall of this series I really really hope the next installment in the series is great I really do. But patience is key rn let's just wait and see, also in my opinion halo 2, Odst and Reach were the best games
Damn halo infinite is what made me believe halo could be good again the story is good open world felt a bit bland but still fun and holy fuck multiplayer is fun once you get past all the bullshit microtransactions
@@allgerfan you do speak facts
@@allgerfan definitely got better, now that we have more than 4 modes. The state it is in now should have been its release state, but whatever. I personally liked (kinda loved) the campaign, but looking at the trailer, it could have been MUCH better. I kinda wouldn't have minded if they pushed it back another year because holy shit, that multiplayer needed some work. Also wish the open world was more diversified in terms of biomes.
@@Aged_Onions it's one section of the ring so that's why it's not super diverse but the other stuff yea... Could a used some work. I didn't play that much Xbox when infinites multiplayer came out cuz I just had bought an oculus so I was playing that mainly so by the time I started to play Halo again most of the bugs where ironed out and weapons where more balanced
@@allgerfan As a lore/story enjoyer, Halo infinite was a massive disappointment
As I sit here with my collectors edition Halo 3 Helmet, I'm reminded of a time when video games were good! 😆
Great video BTW! 💯
H2 and H3 were just incredible. I spent so much time playing those games. Genuinely got a tad emotional watching this video.. Such a shame the gaming industry is the way it is now... I would pay money to play H3 on launch again
Halo infinite was such an amazing campaign
After all these years, E3 is truly gone. I will never forget the memories this event provided me, my friends and my family with. I have nothing but love and respect. Thank you for 20+ years of hype.
That halo 2 gameplay and reveal is absolute perfection to this day
Always get chills when watching Halo reveals up to 4. they knew how to do marketing right.
"yeah like it was ever gonna end" makes me laugh at the end of the halo 4 reveal
I'll never not get chills off halo 2 an 3, thanks for the video!
Infinite ended up being another 343 blunder, but hearing everyone cheer after Chief's shield's charge in the 2019 trailer still gives me hype.
I wish people could separate the story mode from the multiplayer when it comes to talking about Infinite, because I thought the campaign for Infinite was excellent. I vividly remember everyone loving the hell out of it when it released. I wouldn't call it a complete blunder.
19:37 I think this guy knew what was to come
“Oh shit this is halo”
*ding.*
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" [cue everyone cheering in triumph]
*DUN-DUN-DUUUUUUN DUN-DUUUUUUUUUUN*
Unfortunate that I was born 2006 and didn't start my halo adventure until 2015. I actually thought Halo 5 was one of the best halo games, but my god I was wrong. When I first bought the MCC and played it, I thought it was like being in a museum looking at old shit. I was so wrong, it was more like being transported back into history. I'm happy that I have older friends who can tell me about their long nights on box tvs with split screen on halo ce. The hype, the culture was the most amazing part of the Halo community.
W comment
I am going to miss live, in-person reveals like this. Hearing the audience cheer was something special, rest in peace E3.
Im gonna miss ya, E3. Thanks for making someones summer for a decade.
The crowd eruption when they hear the old sheild recharge in infinite was spine chilling
New Mombasa in this Halo 2 trailer looks like it would be an absolute NIGHTMARE to navigate.
thanks for the vid, wish it was still like this
RIP E3
“Bet you can’t stick ‘em”
“You’re on”
still blows my mind that the hype for H3 was soo big it caused a noticeable downtick in the economy of pretty much everywhere and every business the day it released.
Halo Infinite definitely made me a Halo fan once again. I recently got done playing the game for the first time and giving it a chance alongside Halo 3 ODST and both games blew me away. Although I don’t want the flood to come back I welcome the next installment with a day one purchase. Along with some figures. 😅
The silence during the reach reveal was telling, as halo fans we all felt that
Halo 3 gave me chills
First halo game i ever played was CE at my middle school with friends, the lead up to Infinite is when i feel in love with the series.
someone said “OH SHIT” when it showed off the dual wield in halo 2😭
Lmfao! I heard that!
Awesome video you put together. I remember eagerly waiting for the Halo E3 reveals then getting the official Xbox magazine with more details before launch. Last golden era of gaming imo. Glad we got to be there for it
Thank you! I appreciate it;
28:53 It’s amazing how Halo fans instantly know it’s Halo when a specific chord of piano notes play.
It was the helmet
@@rxr_hy2623 You didn’t hear that piano chord which is played EVERY time Chief is revealed
@@amematoi it literally was the helmet it gave it away.
Halo reach fans wouldnt understand the thrills having to see Halo 2 and Halo 3 in trailers and ad campaigns...
Totally agree!
I remember being a kid, growing up on Halo CE, playing through the campaign endlessly with my dad. One day I got home from school and my dad called me into his room. His computer was booted up and a video was loading. It was the Halo 2 E3 reveal trailer. I remember watching it maybe 10 times in a row. It was so exciting to hear about. I remember printing out stills and taking them to school with me the next day to show my friends. Some kids thought they were fake, some stared in awe, but we all gathered around and spent all recess talking about them. This hype continued until the release. The same thing happened for Halo 3. I remember seeing Halo 3 branded merch everywhere. I think 7/11 had a Halo 3 cup that was holographic. There was the strongest air of excitement and wonder leading up to those games' releases. The cheering you can hear in the background of the Halo 2 trailer was absolutely genuine. It was such a big deal, to see such a wildly different and new looking game experience after having only the first for a few years. That's something that's missing nowadays; falling in love with a franchise/game, getting no new content for it but still playing it obsessively (partially because there wasn't as much to do back then), and then having a new game release. It was wild.
I wish more people still cared about Halo. Infinite was great but underrated sadly
Best Halo game since Reach, hands down
My god, the flood of memories that Halo 2 E3 brought back. I still debate which E3 was the GOAT between that and Finish the Fight.
It's amazing how easily a few piano chords will nearly bring a guy to tears.
Gaming really peaked in 2007, huh?
It really gives me chills seeing how fans react to a new Bungie Halo game hearing them excited
I miss the old gaming days a lot! 😭
I never played a single game in the halo series (never had an Xbox ever) but watching these trailers makes me feel nostalgic
I started with Halo 2 split screen on original Xbox back in 2005. The Halo 3 reveal trailer still makes me cry dude 😂
When I seen Halo 2 footage on an Xbox magazine dvd I was so hyped it was unreal
I remember crying a bit when the Halo 3 E3 trailer was revealed
Dude, I remember watching it on a PSP! A cousin somehow got the video file and showed to me and my brother... man, those days. Those days...
Goosebumps at the end 😅
Man I love Halo
That's what matters, mate ;
That Halo 2 demo absolutely rocked my world and I was enthralled, and felt so disappointed when the actual City Center level looked nothing like this.
Yes the whole look of New Mombasa being like this weird stacked up floating city just gave the city such a cool vibe and the whole warthog section I liked too compared to the final version.
Imagine the reactions if we got to see Bungie after the title of the next halo game. My pain would go away.
My pain would increase in so many levels
Nuh uh, then we would have to deal with destiny 2 but even more shitm
The Bungie who made Halo doesn’t exist anymore. Current Bungie is arguably just as bad as 343.
Halo 2: Ah nostalgia
Halo 3: Perfection in all its glory
Halo 3 ODST: The second punch to perfection.
Halo R: A magnificent end to an era.
Halo 4: The start of a troubled era.
Halo 5: *Vomits*
Halo Infinite: Potential untapped.
I come back here sometimes to remind myself I’ve got a soul
Halo Reach was my most hyped game ever
Seeing Halo 2 adverts on TV was something special.
That first trailer, that guy freaking out, prime halo two right there
Notice how the crowd gets significantly quieter after Halo 4 gameplay and beyond lol.
"These Covenant aren't messing around!" can you imagine Cortana EVER saying that in Bungie Halos? Halo 4 is a great marker to use for when all of AAA gaming began falling off hard. One thing that shocked me is that it was all the way back in 2012. Further back than I thought.
"A dawn of a new trilogy"- Halo 4 E3
Halo 2 e3 demo was something else....what a *fucking* time to be alive.
I still can't get over that tall tree city design for the original new Mombasa. What were they thinking with that lol. So glad they changed it
Seeing people immediately liking the battle rifle is great.
That halo 2 e3 demo blew my 15 year old brains out.
the kids will never know.
I genuinely think if halo 2s development has a couple more years it would have been the greatest game ever made
A simpler time. A time of hype
god i miss prime halo 3 so much man
RIP Halo
RIP E3
2024. I still dream and want to play this Halo 2 demo level.
Epic
Halo games were the introduction to TRIPLE A games
I'm so sad e3 isn't like how I always heard it was when I was younger now, it makes me sad that the chance I did get to go got ruined by Covid and the problems it caused. I just hope another event takes its place or e3 comes back to its old ways
Ah screw the halo 4 hate, I remember being so pumped with the halo 4 reveal I don't even care how good or bad the game ended up being
I’d argue Halo 4 wasn’t that bad, and it was the major negative reaction that forced 343 down the current path.
Now it doesn’t help that the people in charge of 343 hated halo either, which would probably explain why they where so open to changing it every time the fanbase had an issue.
No one liked Halo 4 because it was more of the same with Halo 3, mixed with a little bit of call of duty? Gotta change that.
No one like Halo 5: Guardians because of the lack of focus on Master Chief, and the deconstruction of his character, on top of the crummy cover shooter gameplay? Gotta change that. People don’t like Halo Infinite’s Live service game model, and the fact the main campaign was delayed for the multiplayer, on top of the solo campaign’s story being unfinished??? Well time to downsize 343 and make development harder on an already small studio.
the best feature not in a halo game is cortana saying NICE when boarding a vehicle 7:05
Damn, I just realized I miss E3
