Ocean Microplastics Research 海洋マイクロプラスチック動態調査 / U-Tokyo AORI 東京大学 大気海洋研究所

近年、眼に見えない海洋汚染として注目されている海洋マイクロプラスチック。その実態を調査するため、2020年8月、東京大学大気海洋研究所の研究グループが中心となって調査航海（新青丸 KS-20-13）が実施されました。海洋ごみのホットスポットとなっている対馬周辺から能登半島にかけての西部日本海において様々な観測が行われたその様子をご覧ください。

In recent years, microplastics in the ocean has been becoming an invisible marine pollution problem. In August 2020, a research group from the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, the University of Tokyo planed a research cruise (Shinsei-maru KS-20-13) and undertook it in order to investigate the actual situation of microplastics in the ocean. The research group conducted various observations and measurements in the west side of the Japan Sea from Tsushima Island to Noto Peninsula, one of the hotspots for marine debris.
This video was produced as a part of the OMNI microplastics project by
the DLX Design Lab, Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo in cooperation with the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute in the University of Tokyo, the UTokyo Future Society Initiative (FSI), and the Nippon Foundation.
