- Randy Santel "Atlas" vs The Biggun' Chicken Fried Steak Challenge smothered with country gravy and served with lots of sides and desserts at Club Lunch in downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma!! On Monday, August 3, 2020, I kicked off my 2020 Southeast USA Tour and started by doing 5 delicious newer food challenges in the state of Oklahoma, before heading southeast through Arkansas and onward. For challenge #5, I traveled from Oklahoma City to Muskogee, Oklahoma to take on the massive Biggun' Chicken Fried Steak Challenge at Club Lunch which all tasted so amazing!! I had 45 minutes to finish a slab of chicken fried steak covered with 24oz of their country gravy and served with 2 portions of mashed potatoes, 2 bread rolls, a healthy side salad, 2 vegetables sides, and 2 slices of cream pie. I was trying to get my meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and join my friend Brandon "Da Garbage Disposal" Clark on their elite Wall of Fame. Thanks to the owner Ashley and his wife plus everyone with Club Lunch for the wonderful food and hospitality!! This is the biggest chicken fried steak challenge that I know of around the world. Thank you to everyone who came that night to watch and meet me, and thanks to everyone in the Muskogee area and all around Oklahoma who watches videos and supports our efforts!! The next few videos will feature food challenges in the state of Arkansas - North Little Rock, Fort Smith, Dardanelle, and Russellville, AR.

Club Lunch's Biggun' Chicken Fried Steak Challenge in Muskogee, Oklahoma ($45):
- Club Lunch has been serving delicious food to Muskogee customers since 1913!!
- One of their signature dishes is their chicken fried steak, and wow it is delicious!!
- The main feature of this delicious challenge is a 4lb slab of round beef tenderloin.
- That all gets breaded and fried, and then smothered with 24oz of country gravy.
- The challenge includes 2 portions of mashed potatoes with gravy plus 2 sides.
- You get to choose which sides you want, and there are lots of vegetable options.
- There is also 2 lighter bread rolls, a healthy side salad, and some of their tasty pie.
- There is a quick 45 minute time limit to finish everything which weighs around 9lbs.
- Winners get the $45 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and on Club Lunch's Wall of Fame!!

Am I the only that thought the potatoes, brussel sprouts, and green beans looked mouthwatering? I’ll never understand people that don’t like Brussel sprouts. The chicken fried steak and gravy looked delicious, but there was just so much of it that I was salivating over the sides

I knew when I saw it that Randy wouldn't do it just on the sheer size of the thing. Don't think many of the top eater could do it either. You need ridiculous capacity for something like that. Great effort. I think the amount of sides is kinda overkill for this challenge. A normal person who does challenges for fun wouldn't stand a chance. Maybe they should scale it down or offer a full hour to do it? Would that have made the difference?

Randy is always "on", Brandon distracts himself, even when Brandon is engaging the crowd it is a distraction from the food. They have different ways of entertaining their fans. Randy hits a wall and must overcome it in the here and now. Brandon registers "the wall" in a little secluded part of his mind that he chooses to ignore. Randy takes a deep breath almost every challenge at the 20 minute mark and he has to fight every bite after. Randy also gets dramatic about how hard it is. Brandon is just more Zen. He also just cracks a joke to distract himself. If someone responds it spurs him on. Randy wants chants and applause, Brandon wants people to bet against him.

They have different styles but very good friends. Randy was really there for Brandon when his house burned down. When they eat together Brandon acknowledges that it is Randy's show.

I think what people need to realize is that going into a challenge thinking "im gonna get destroyed" is the worst way to do it. I didnt view Randy as being cocky but hyping himself up for the challenge in front of him. Im just surprised he took his loss with such grace
