A Master of Djinn was such a delight to read. Clark manages to pull together so many elements and makes it work. So compelling and so much fun.

I just finished Justice of Kings! It's insanely far under the radar for how good it is! So dark, so savage, and althought i dont generally like 1st person narration, I think it worked well with seeing that world and its events through Helena's eyes. Vonvalt is insanely well conceived. I cant wait to read Book 2!

Justice of kings the trilogy is definitely underrated the mixed reviews on Goodreads for it is sad. Richard Swan is an absolute genius and I love reading the trilogy so far. I'm in the middle of book 2 currently. Empire of the wolf needs more hype.

Hi Isa, I enjoy P Djeli Clark, especially his books set in Egypt. I also enjoyed Ring Shout - I enjoy it when an author incorporates a real world thing/event in a "fantastical" tale

    Isa doing god's work! 🌟
Seriously, Gael Song is so underrated and I don't understand why! Great covers, great titles, will work for epic fantasy readers, historical fiction readers, even romance readers if they have enough patience! We need to keep spreading the word. Also, obligatory yay for the Aurelian Cycle 💞

I recently read The Last Cuentista and loved it. It has an interesting combination of folklore and Sci-Fi. I was surprised it's categorized as middle grade, I feel like it should be YA.

Picked up The Children of Gods and Fighting Men because of this video and was immediately available from the library. Read about the first 25% and really enjoying it. Was awesome to see the first chapter take place at the Iona Monastery, which I had a chance to visit a number of years ago. Really cool place, though it's in Scotland not Ireland which I'm not sure readers who hadn't heard of it would know since the book's map only show Ireland.
I really need to read Guns of the Dawn. So many people have put this in their favorites and the premise seems cool. I just haven't jived with two other books I've read from the author, which has made me hesitant to pick it up. But I think that is the next one of his I'll try. Then probably Children of Time.

I adore the Gael Song trilogy, can’t wait for the conclusion this year.
Empire of the Wolf is also brilliant, I’m trying to decide if I need to reread the first 2 books before the last one come out

well done, one I never hear anyone talking about is The Bladed Faith trilogy by Dalglish. It has an interesting magic system based on the number of people that believe in your abilities.

Guns of the Dawn was great he's a very prolific author and Dogs of War is also great if you're looking for something more sci-fi. Not read the follow-up Bearhead but if it's as good it's worth a try.
Can't wait for The Trials of Empire by Richard Swan. Fans of his writing might wanna try Anthony Ryan's stuff (Raven's Shadow, Draconis Memoria and Covenant of Steel). He's very popular with John Gwynne fans. Just got a new book of his called Red River Seven which is more of a horror. It's about 7 guys who wake up on a boat with no memory of who they are or who they got there. They're armed and in the surrounding mist they can hear screaming.
Just gotten into the Eidyn Saga by Justin Lee Anderson. Two of four books out so far (The Lost War and The Bitter Crown). Heavily inspired by Gaelic culture, some of the names and magic words like "Glauis" and "Droaidh" are actually Gaelic words. Set in a land where there's tension between non magical people and magic users (Droaidh) and the lines between right and wrong become blurred. Very good so far
