The Bach-Stiftung performances are always THE BEST! But I never fail to be pleased to see Markus Bernhard and Maya Amrein in the orchestra - dedicated musicians, so interesting to watch, and so gifted in their playing! Don’t misunderstand me - - the singing was glorious, but I can’t get enough of the superb playing by the orchestral ensemble!
Ein Genuß zum Zuhören! Die Bachstiftung ist ein Glücksfall, ein ganz wunderbares Zusammenwirken aller beteiligten Musiker.
Sehr schön, dass nach den vielen geistlichen Kantaten von Bach nun auch profane Kantaten von der Bach-Stiftung unter der hervorragenden Leitung von Rudolf Lutz eingespielt werden. Allen Ensamblemitgliedern ein großes Lob, besonders der Sopranistin Feuersinger, dem Querflötenspieler und der ersten Geige.

Danke, dass Sie ein Werk eingespielt haben, das ich bisher überhaupt noch nie gehört habe. Selbst die kleinen und fast schon apokryphen Werke von Bach faszinieren durch ihre Virtuosität, die das Ensemble überzeugend herübergebracht hat.

Bella cantata di indole pagana, che permea la tristezza di una partenza, ma anche l'allegria del ritorno, benché si devano affrontare impellenti ostacoli. Allegorica composizione dedicata alle vicende umane.

The sinfonia is played so well omg

A gem of a solo cantata (actually a duo cantata, as the flute has the same prominence of the solo singer) over an awkward text. It's one of those pieces where you listen the sinfonia and think, oh this is my favourite movement! then the first aria starts and you reconsider, and so on. Marc Hantaï is a joy to the ear and of course Feuersinger sings very sensitively.

Lovely playing from Maestro Lutz and his ensemble. But the soprano’s diction leaves much to be desired … I think I understood about 6% of the words…. Delivered with a thick, driven tone.
