I appreciate they went with a more comfortable goggles and a more travel friendly fpv drone with DJI Avata. Hope to travel and have adventure with this drone soon!
Definitey want the DJI Avata Pro View combo!!! Excited for a more fun footage and flight experience!
Best tutorial ever! Thank you DJI
Thank you very much for sharing the video with useful information.
Looking forward to mine arriving!
Thank you so much for the video. On point, well explained, just the best I've found so far.
The Motion Controller is why I would like to be flying this drone. A very natural feel to flying I think. Thanks Laurie. New Zealand
it easier than the classic one & more funny
The fact that they force you to buy it in a bundle instead of with the proper controller is a reason why I won't be getting it
Fyi I dont regard the usual controller as “proper”. I think the motion controller is a better type and design…
@@LWJCarroll usual controller allows manual mode, motion does not. If I wanted normal mode I'd buy mavic. Makes you wonder, why havent they enabled goggles to work with mavic
@@johnny_123b I use both and are pretty happy with them on my inspire and Mavic 2 pro as well as the FPV I built last year. I get what your saying and it’s a matter of preference but as someone who normally uses “regular” RC stick controllers I’m having an absurdly good time with this “wanker” style motion controller. In sport mode you can actually do a lot more “acro” style things than you can on a normal Mavic. I don’t really feel like I missing all that much and it’s so damn fun to fly this way… I’d try it on the Avata before you knock it for sure…
I’m soon getting one. I’m really really excited and I’m more excited while watching this video. Must be very fun 🎉😅
Love it !
Great demo! Congrats!
Amazing product
Brilliant! Such good editing !
Thank you for this Tutorial DJI, I can’t wait to get this drone!!
Soldiers in the Frontline are also very eager 😁
@@colgatetoothpaste4865 bro what? Fpv is literally for fun. Has worse batery than normal drones and in no way should it be used in war besides to maybe troll the enemies which is dumb. If I were in war I’d use a mavic 3 or something
Amazing great tutorial hope I get dji avata soon
this is amazing.
This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.
అన్నయ్యా నాకైతే చాలా నచ్చింది.. 🥰😍 ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్స్ బాగున్నాయి..

Great information best work like it product
hope to have it🤩🤩🤩
Good demo for the newbie like me
Great video
I want five of these!
I can feel you bro
G'day Matthew from Down Under.
Firstly, your videos about explaining topics are just fabulous, I have learnt a lot from them. As it was with your recent video about the DJI Avata. It looks like so much fun to fly around with. The question I have is about legal use in open space. I have just completed my drone pilot license as well as my REOC (commercial use) in Australia. FPV drones are just not allowed to be flown outside, no matter how many spotters are watching the drone. Won't these rules be the same in Northern Ireland or anywhere in Europe? I am hooked on getting one though.
Keep up the great work,
Cheers Ben
What a technology man
I purchased it and will bring this to my travel !
Nice
The one I ordered is supposed to be arriving today. This is the first time I have actually gotten excited about a new drone in years. Great move DJI.
I have owned the inspire line of drones as well as every Mavic up to the Hassblad Mavic 2 pro which I still use all the time with the smart controller and it’s beautiful bright screen. I think the Avata will be a great companion drone to the Mavic for the type of work I do. Oddly this video doesn’t cover manual mode on the Avata though.
Also, it looks like DJI has also developed a couple of highly advanced and completely emotionless robot models to demonstrate the features of the Avata in this video. Great stuff 😂
It probably didn't cover manual mode since the kit they are demoing does not include a controller that enables manual mode. I am sure they have a separate avata video on manual mode with the full controller.
For me, it's also today, but a year later.... Waiting for UPS
lindo de mais, vou sonhar com esse drone todos os dias ate ter um
Ill wait for the Joshua Bardwell review. Youve gotta love that dude😍
@ᴛᵉˡᵉᵍʳᵃᵐ ᵐᵉ@officialdjitutorials ah great Thanks
It's weird DJI didn't send Bardwell one. I rely on Bardwell for many of my drone purchase decisions.
A lot of smaller CZcamsrs received this drone from DJI so it's surprising Joshua Bardwell didn't get one. I would have also like to have seen early reviews from Mad's Tech and RC Model Reviews.
Mad's Tech purchased an Avata but his review came out later than other reviews since Ian had to wait until after the Avata was released to purchase it.
Even though Bardwell didn't review the Avata, I still purchased one.
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. Now I’m dreaming to get Dji Avata. Can you tell me please, is this type of controller more easy than an ordinary dji mini’s ?
Of course yes
thanks i was wondering how to make it hover up or down ;-)
keren, pingin beli
hello sir i am from india and i have subscribed your youtube channel you make very good video sir i am also very fond of flying drone
DJI Active Tracks/POI/Spotlight which can be found in DJI Mini Pro 3, will be found as well in DJI Avata?
aku suka aku suka
can i use my mavic air controller with avata drone ?
good tutorial, the only thing I need now is money
Tutorial for beginners - Get a girlfriend before you fly
Amazing comment haha made me laugh so hard.
How much are those? Just spent all my money on Avata.
Yeah what are the chances of that happening??
Hi - can you tell me if you can livestream to Facebook with the Avata like you can with the Mavics? Thanks.
如果goggles2能用在御2就好了,太漂亮了
Just yesterday it was the mini 3
I wish my wife was that interested when I fly, hahaha!
❤❤❤💐
Is this remoteid capable?
i just got the avata combo. do the goggle even sink on one screen? i get dizzy seeing 2 monitor on the goggles
Į have a avata☺️
DjI avata is my favourite since its come, hope i can have DJI avata someday, hmm maybe i should sell my kidney first to have this hahahaha.
Best drone trust me
Link to buy? Thanks
what speed this drone fly ?
Waiting for the tutorial "How to pair your DJI Goggles 2 with the DJI Digital FPV System".
C'mon DJI
There’s a quote on their website that says they’re “waiting to see how to market reacts” before they allow for the goggles to pair with previous systems. We need to be outspoken about wanting this change. They should become industry standard if they’re as amazing as they seem
how much?
Pairing requires the 4 battery lights to be lighting in sequence. This stumped me longer than I'd like to admit. I thought it was already in pairing mode given the pace of the video.
To enter Pairing Mode, after the avata is powered on, press and hold again until you hear a beep and the battery lights flashing in a sequence. This applies to the controllers as well.
Hello, there. May we confirm that you can pair the remote controller with the DJI Avata successfully? Please let us know if you have any questions.
Can this drone be flown right out of the box with a license or registration?
Technically, yes. But in the US, legally you’ll need to register the drone first. It costs $5 and takes just a few minutes at the FAA Drone Zone’s website
How do I choose to record to the sd card? On my m2p it automatically did it once inserted
Which price this all set
Is it true that the goggles 2 are different from V2 when it comes to flying-distance rules in Europe? I think i saw someone say V2 is 6km and 2 is way less.
DJI Avata Shaolin Resilience 😎

is the hud the same when using the v2 goggles? such as the circle in the middle.
How to transfer footage from aircraft directly to android phone?
First to watch and comment 😜🤣
@@EarthSouthside 🤣🤣🤣🤣
how do make it go backwards ? ...............................................
How much is it
I really want a dji avata and I love to learn fpv flying but ,🥺😖😖I dont have enough miney to buy one 😭😭
I wanted to use it for our films ....but I had a bad first experience. Battery in low power mode for external flight ... control didnt turn the drone. The new firmware forces you to have the phone also attached to the goggles (which is very inconvenient and now shown in your demo video...) I dont know what the deal is but. .. who had the TERRIBLE idea of the placement of the USB and Memory Card slot ? OMG really? But... I could had faced all these issues, if the drone I received at least worked fine. I'd love to have this kind of footage in our independent films. (We already use a DJI Mavic II zoom , which we love).
But what about the normal controller? Do I buy it separate?
They combos make NO SENSE. You also can't buy the new goggles without the controller
@@Valencia_Media the new googles currently don’t work with any other drones
They want this drone to be as consumer friendly as possible. The motion controller is much more intuitive and anyone who wants to use this commercially or is a drone enthusiast, they can buy the dual stick controller separately. If they included the controller with the drone, average folks would have thought they needed to use it, they would’ve crashed more and left worse reviews. That’s my assumption anyway
@@JordanKyle nah mate even with the traditional controller they can still fly it safely there mode switch to choose from... this motion controller beginner friendly theyre sayin is just BS they just want to get rid of all unsold motion controller becuase no one wnats them since the beginning
@@JordanKyle that's fine
DJI Fly app not working with my Avata and V2 goggles. I am getting Remote ID error but otherwise everything working OK
Hi
Will the AVATA ever be compatible with the DJI mode 2 controller? I’d even be inclined to get the controller 2, but I can’t get over the “wand”.
Yes it works with the Remote Controller 2.
@@tomboyt3358 I’m talking about the mode 2 controller by DJI. Not the controller 2.
@@AiringAustin The Mode 2 controller will not work sadly, however they could make it work in the future, nothing has been said about this yet,
This thing only suport acro mode
@@masdul_pr that’s what I do too. Mode 2 can use all those.
Any Combo with the remote like the one with FPV 1?
Not that I've been able to find. It's odd that the Motion Controller is the only option available in combos.
I think you have to purchase the two stick controller separately. In my opinion, it's kind of dumb people have to purchase the normal controller separate.
@@ddegn perhaps DJI want to dispose all extra motion controllers not sold with the AVATA hype before having 2 stick combo.
@@ddegn cant fly full manual with that remote. Sad.
@@RommelTimonera I used the Motion Controller for the first time yesterday. It's kind of fun but it offers much less control than the standard remote. I don't think there's a way to fly backwards with the Motion Controller.
So because this drone is not sub 249g, do you need to register it? What flight restrictions will it have?
You mean if you don't register it? Just the fact that it'd be illegal to operate.
it really depends on where you live,But in general all drones above 256g in N America ((both Canada and the USA) have to be registered ..Flight restrictions (no flight within 3-5 miles of any airport or hospital that has flight paramedic capability ) any other restrictions, again depends on local laws where you live
If you do not register, flying it is a violation of FAA regulations in US. They have no police force. DJI will impose their own restrictions for compliance with commercial airspace. Notice you cannot fly this quad without using the DJI app on a smartphone. This forces you to comply with some things regardless of your wishes.
At the very least, mine will not be registered.
Great video thanks! I just wish the same song wasn’t looped for the whole video 🫠
I just received my Avata with Goggle 2 today. However I am a bit concerned with the goggles. It keeps going black screen for a second of two every two or three seconds. Is there something wrong with the goggles if it does that or am I just missing something?
Hello, does this issue occur when you are wearing the Goggle 2 correctly? Please note that the proximity sensor will detect whether the user is wearing the goggles and automatically turns the screen on or off.
@@DJITutorials Yeah I think that was it.... I did not realize about the sensor and was just holding it up to my face. Thank you.
@@wtb567 You are most welcome.
@@DJITutorials Yes, you are right. It was a newby mistake when I did not know about the sensor yet. I tried to hold the Goggle 2 up to my face and its probably each time I pulled it slightly away that it went black. When I wear it properly with the headstrap it does not happen.
Song name?
Did the camera canntake photo or have zoom function?
Taking photo is possible.
@@dilawarrahat3376 thank yoa
I want it. But I want the goggles to be compatible with existing air units.
Question, when I go to fly my Mavic air 2 in an area that needs authorization I can use the LAANC app to get approval. Why can’t I use it for the Avata when in the exact same location? There’s no way the Avata will allow me to even attempt to spin the props. Is there a way I can do it?? I’m a bit confused on this one. Thx
Hello, there. May we know what error message you see in the Goggles or in the App? Can we have more information?
@@DJITutorials from what I remember it states I’m in a Geo zone or area and won’t allow me to start the Avata
can you orbit around an object with the motion controller or are you limited to forward flight?
Yes by turning on Head tracking on the goggles
@@sanal6635 ah right ok thanks, have you tried it?

I have been searching for literally days to find out if you can view what the drone sees on your mobile device. At 11:01 it LOOKS like she's viewing it... but I have zero confirmation. I've asked this question in COUNTLESS videos - and I'll ask it here too HOPING to get a response from ANYONE. "Can someone VIEW on a mobile device what the Avata sees \ what the goggles see? Is there some sort of mirroring available? This is absolutely CRITICAL before purchasing, and I can't find ANY information about this ANYWHERE.
PLEASE and thank you. Sorry for the random caps.... I'm trying to emphasis my frustration of the lack of information. People seem to gloss over this extremely important capability - as of right now, I still don't believe this is possible with the Avata.
M mode with motion controller 2 ?????
Hi there, RC Motion 2 does not support M mode. Thank you for your attention.
