Actually a crocodile is an ambush predator. What'd actually happen is after leaving the gate the crock would submerge himself in the water until only his eyes and nostrils were at the surface, then it'd wait.
Once giant fluffy (Trex actually had a coat of feathers) got close enough to the water's edge, it would then lunge out of the water, bite down of fluffy's head, do a death roll, and fluffy's head becomes non-existent.
Game over.
Actually only baby tyrannosaurus rexes had feathers
T rex had evidence of partial feathers on some parts of its body however that is all we've found leading to varying interpretations of feather coverage
Larger rex specimens have been found with fossilised evidence of feathers and even if it were not the case and we had found feather coverage on some juveniles it would not be enough on its own to disprove that larger adults had them on at least some parts of their bodies

Even in the present day, crocodiles still face difficulties when attempting to bring down buffaloes. It is quite perplexing to consider how a deinosuchus which is smaller and lighter than a tyrannosaurus rex, could manage to overpower and bring down such a massive creature. First get some facts kid before u make conclusions

@@ASRfishkeep I heard somewhere that suggested those things actually made sounds like honking. As for that crocodile, they hunted as modern crocodiles do: ambushing prey from the water, then tearing them to bits by the death roll. Frankly the Trex was actually the top prey items of the then crocodiles. The diet of crocodiles consists of anything that they bite on to and ripe apart using their signature death roll.

Deinosuchus would definitely eat rexes. Back then anything the deino could bite was food for it. And deinosuchus have a far stronger bite force than the t rex. It was made for hunting large dinosaurs in water. The t rex is not gonna stand a chance against it under water
