My aunt who adopt me for awhile ,she’s maybe 85 now and I promised my self when she passed away many years from now I will never forget to give her offerings together with her parents which is my grandparents. I know at her first of being dead ,her family will pray for her give her sometimes offerings or light candles but it will not be forever but because I’m here and I hope if I will live longer than her she is rests assured that she will never be “hungry “ in the afterlife or spirit realm because I will give her the needs to be strong with her energy and I will never abandon her because she help me when I was I very young . She is a very compassionate mother and I know she will never harm me . Maybe ,this is the reason why we met in this lifetime that I will be the one to support her after she passed away. I know it’s my responsibility,she may not say that but I feel it will be mine .

Thank you so much for this video!🙌 I have been learning shamanism, loving the land.ive been told twice I have a shaman elder thats always with me and encourages me to learn. I recently made an altar. is it OK that I have my grandma's scarf on there if I'm wanting to connect more with the shaman elder? just thought it was a repsentation of an ancestor. Thank you! I would say to experiment with what works for your schedule and also go with when you get an urge to connect and you may determine a timeframe that works for both you and them. It is a relationship like any other. Generally in my experience and what I have learned is the ancestors are more active at night whenever the sun goes down until sunrise. The hours when human activity goes down and things get quieter. The 3-5 am is probably where this came from. Give it a try. There is no hard rule. It’s a flow between you and them that gets stronger with time spent.

Do we sage everytime we put their candles out? Should we light candles everyday?
No, you don’t have to. Only when you are feeling like you need to sage. Use your intuition to guide you. You don’t have to light candles everyday. Once a week or whenever you feel they want or need it. Most people do weekly on the same day to create consistency.

When I leave a candle on my ancestors alter it flickers and moves a lot. Is they good or bad. I’m thinking there is friction going on with some of the Ancestors in my alter or I’m not having enough of interaction with them.
When "reading" candles, we first take into consideration any physical conditions of the candle that may make this happen such as the condition or quality of the wick and the quality of the wax. If all seems to be in order in that regard, then what is usually happening is the spirits are using the candle for energy to work on your behalf. When we are talking about ancestors, we are talking elevated ancestors so most often than not they are not having any conflicts because they work for your highest good. If you really think that they are having an issue, the best thing to do is get a reading from a reputable diviner.

Are there rituals to open third eye in Africa spirituality
No specific rituals for that to my knowledge in this tradition. Regularly, things are done to develop your higher mind, cleanse your energy field, align with your highest destiny. It would be a series of things involved. The closest thing I can think of is aligning with your Ori (personal divine essence).
