It's crazy to me how you all are not getting him. By turning it into jokes and saying he was just content farming, he distracts from Rae by switching your attention to him - without getting real hate/drama for himself and without making her (streamer)friends feel & seem like shit for not doing what he did. This is perfect. And you all not getting it just proves it, because that's the point. It clearly worked.
If he would talk dead serious, like "I am a nice person and I helped her.", that would get him real hate for wanting praise and it would make other streamers + her friends seem like shit. They would then try to attack him by saying he was just content farming, cause they feel like shit for not reaching out themselves and now need to talk him down. It would create real Drama between him and other streamers. But he avoided all that by "sacrificing" to be seen as a nice person and making himself the butt of the joke/situation, before anyone else could do it in a serious, real way. The only bad thing left coming out of this, is that he's not seen as a genuin person, but as a shit "content demon." But that's less important to him, which makes him an even better person.

@@ant9347 I agree with that, my point is it really isn't all that altruistic and not a situation of what "a friend would do", a big reason he did this was because she's the center of attention, bringing her on stream brings more attention to his and makes himself look like the hero. The end result is the same, the intention is very different though. People keep on talking about him as a person - (which we have no real way of knowing, we've never met these people) and I feel like people are having a really distorted lens. This isn't just a guy calling a random friend, checking up on her. It's two influencers currently being watched by dozens of thousands trying to help their public image.

Man, Mizkif is good. Not only did he support his friend, but this conversation helped her image and reputation more than any tweet or video could, and he did it it front of so many viewers as well.
It made her look relatable...I never had an issue with Rae in the first place and it was obviously a naive mistake...but I'm sure this call helped alot
Mizkif single-handedly saving Rae’s career. We know she would have been fine, but he helped make Rae look like a relatable person (doing things when not in a good state of mind).

Its unfortunate timing Rae is probably having the worst time of her profesisonal career and ALL her friends are having like the time of their lives at EDC. No one was there to tell comfort her or keep her sane. I mean dedicating a stream to just address every LSF comment would've been brutal. Also, she needs a real PR team.
She chose to scam her fans, why do you care? Its not her "friends" responsibility to do anything.

If she really knew that then that would mean she would know it wouldn't be hard for people to debunk and figure that out, which means she would have had to choose to put her reputation on the line. Not only does that not make sense from a logical point of view, but she genuinely seems like a person with a good heart who was just naïve going into it. Also, she seems like she genuinely was interested in protecting herself from blue light and creating a line that does that, as she has worn blue light blocking glasses for the past year and a half without promoting them whatsoever. She may have seen some research that the company had done, but ultimately she trusted the wrong people and failed to do her own research. Her response to the public about the situation was an emotional and non clear-headed reaction. She now needs to address it and take responsibility in that. Do I think she should be held responsible? Yes, because she is a content creator who has many followers. But I do not think she had any malicious intent.

I'm a new subscriber to Miz and I absolutely love how he cares for his friends, and how he handed out the advice with being straight forwarded with what he thought and also handling it with also showing love. These are the kind of people we need in the world

Honestly it was such good advice and you were understanding, while giving a past experience when eventually how things will go away as the dust settles.
Mizkif really helped her here to be honest. He told her to turn off stream because she wasn’t in the right head space. She said she was looking out for her friends but in the process kinda made some of her friends look even worse. I think she definitely needed to take a break from everything.

I'm glad he said all of that to her. He understood what she was feeling and how that can affect you. Valkyrae is a good person, she's just being overwhelmed by a million things and doesn't know how to go about fixing things. When your brain starts freaking out like that you make even more mistakes. This is just life stuff you gotta learn as you go, and it's even harder when you are an influencer. She messed up, so does everyone else. Although, most people don't have thousands of people watching them to treat them like crap when they do so.

Miz is one of the good ones, I’ve watched her for over a year and anybody who watches or knows Rae for that long should know she’s a truly caring person. It’s honestly not that big of a deal, people are just always looking for attention and want to be heard even if they’re wrong

This is why I subbed to Miz. There's a methodology to his "madness". He's a solid dude and has grew quite a bit since his earlier days.
It's quite shocking that Rae went live and felt compelled to do this. She really needs to stick to her close family and friends and take a break. Hopefully the people that she called out understands that her mind isn't in the right place before she made those comments. It's more revealing seeing her in this damaged state with how unclear and frantic her mind is during a state of turmoil. It's relatable, but she needs to learn! Breathe, stand back, take accountability, and move forward only to do better. She also needs to realize that she's in a more fortunate disposition to recover from this. She has the money and the connections to learn from this and make something even better, versus many others who would be completely ruined by this situation.

Damn, Miz helped Rae out here so much. If anything, this should be lessons for any future streamers who run into the same issue. It'll suck now but in 48 hours or a week or however short a time it is, let it blow over. Either address it lightly or not at all. Then go offline for a bit. Because if Rae keeps reading and trying to address it the way she does, she's stoking the fires and making it worse. Yes, she feels guilty and is displaying it but people will take advantage of that.
