IMO, people with severe IBS should still be seen by a GI doctor. There is still the possibility of SIBO etc, and treatable people will fall through the cracks

Not really , I tested positive on fit test for blood and high calprotectin results as well as high systemic inflammatory markers in the blood .. so I have to go for colonoscopy

If there is blood in the stool dose it change the results

Could be piles depends on colour of blood
