On board AIDAprima we enjoy a cruise on the so-called Metropolis Route in August 2023! Starting from Hamburg, we visit Southampton in Great Britain, Le Havre in France, Zeebrugge in Belgium and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. In this episode we visit the highlights of Rotterdam with you on foot and on our own. From the modern cruise terminal, we walk past the Hotel New York, the former headquarters of Holland America Line, to the hotel and museum ship S.S. Rotterdam. Built in 1959, the ship is still the largest passenger ship ever launched in the Netherlands. The ship can be explored from the engine room to the bridge - a feast for all technology enthusiasts. Then it's back to the cruise terminal, which is right next to the Ersamus Bridge, from where we can enjoy a great view of AIDAprima. After we have had our fill, we walk across the bridge into the centre of Rotterdam. Here we visit the city's iconic market hall, which offers a terrific selection of delicacies as well as wonderful murals and ceiling paintings. Right next door are the famous cube houses, which are a special feast for the eyes with their idiosyncratic design and construction. Back on board, it's time to go to bed, as AIDAprima will stay in Rotterdam until the early morning. The next day, our last sea day of the cruise, we will take you to the farewell dinner in the fine dining restaurant Rossini - a worthy conclusion to a wonderful cruise. We hope you have fun watching!

Danke für die schönen Einblicke. Wir machen die Tour in 2 Wochen und sind aufgeregt, da Neulinge 😊. Gibt es irgendwo ein Video, wie das mit den Sicherheitsübungen am 1. Tag läuft. Also live oder per Bord-TV? Das habe ich noch nicht so richtig verstanden und will ja nix falsch machen

Auf AIDAprima erledigst du den ersten Teil der Rettungsübung entweder am Kabinen-TV oder in der AIDA-App, danach begibst du dich mit deiner Bordkarte und deiner Rettungsweste zu deiner Musterstation, wo die Handhabung der Weste erklärt wird. Zum Abschluss wird deine Bordkarte als Teilnahmenachweis vor Ort gescannt. Das war's dann auch schon. 🤗 Gruß Chris
