I still have a few of my old Enjoi shirts. I've got one of the earlier "panda" shirts, definitely from when Marc was still on the team. There's something about Enjoi, people love their decks...they've been selling, pretty well, this year at my local shop, too.
Enjoi is by far my top 5 on the list. Their energy and pedigree just knocks in your head that skating is all about fun. The team, the films, the boards... It's all in good faith.
I watched Tilt Mode and then Man Down so many times which made Enjoi so good. I couldn't believe it when Marc left. I feel so lucky to have seen an Enjoi demo in Maryland, shook hands with Rodney, Marc, Louie, Jerry.
So here's a random fact. I love enjoi, more than the average guy. Not sure what it is about the brand, but it's the only brand I've supported religiously (all my decks are enjoi, got a whole wardrobe full of enjoi too) my ex wife even got an enjoi tattoo on her wrist, she got it for me, because she wanted my name on her as a tattoo but decided that names are tacky in case we ever broke up (which we did lol) so she got the enjoi panda instead. I think I was originally drawn to enjoi after seeing their funny ads, and then when thps was released and I was new to skating, seeing Rodney shredding in enjoi was what made me buy my first enjoi board. Been buying since! Nice video bro new sub here :)
Thanks for including the Jake Phelps saying at the end of this video. I truly have no doubt he is with a bunch ripping it up and riding free. Rest in peace to him and Ben Raemers. Shred on for us.
I can't tell you who personified the brand best but I can say skateboarding was my life from 14-19 years old until music took over, and at 31 I bought the last board I may ever and I wanted a enjoi deck just because of how it resonates with me still, the pure fun of being yourself and having fun and of course catching a trick before the ground does..

I have always rode exclusively almost or enjoi decks not just for the crazy art but the reliability resin 7 decks are hard as hell to break crack or chip and the almost impacts are rigid as hell.
Bag of Suck was my very first skate video! I got it looking for Rodney Mullen because I thought he was still on the team. Well he wasn’t, but it still blew my mind and it’s still my favorite skate video till this day!(2020)

I used to work with a kid that was kinda slow, had a pink elephant board. All the other skater type dudes at work with their elements and bakers would make fun of him, they thought it was his sisters board or a walmart board or something. I was walking into work and he was next to me, these dudes stsrted crackin on him "here comes the pink elephant!" I looked at em and said "bro thats an enjoi board and waaaaaayyy sicker than any of your logo decks!" They never said shit to him again
