Какая же красота и благодать. Ни пыли, ни мусора, дороги идеальные. Смотришь, и глаз радуется, и душа отдыхает. Вот что бывает, когда люди любят свою землю и заботятся о ней.
Если дождь идёт 80% дней в году, то конечно! В Швейцарии ещё не особо (по крайней мере летом), а вот в Германии реально дороги как будто корова вылизала. Но на самом деле дожди, которые почти круглый год идут.

Ой да дело не в любви, а в других вещах. Самое главное - это компактность. Живя в центре Европы и имея площадь 41 285 кв.км (58% из которой занято горами), грех не заботиться о каждом квадратном метре этой земли. Поставь этих людей управлять, к примеру, Россией с ее размерами и сложным географическим, культурным, экономическим устройством, они голову сломают как соединить всю страну, провести дороги во все стороны на десятки тысяч километров через сложные естественные рельефы и разные климатические условия. Именно поэтому маленькие страны могут позволить себе всегда выглядеть аккуратно, а Россия это огромная трудноуправляемая махина с топливным голоданием (недостатком и низкой плотностью населения)

I visited Switzerland in September. Had mostly sunny days. The scenery in Switzerland is breathtaking.
Same, I visited in September as well and the weather was absolutely perfect. A little rain here and there but most days were bright and sunny and cool.
@The Budget Controller I spent the last week of September in the southern part of Switzerland. I stayed in Wengen. I believe they call that area the Jungfrau region. But yeah, I was in Interlaken, Bern, Zermatt, lucerne, Lauterbrunnen, Gridelwald, all cities around that area.

Taking the train from Wilderswil, the old lady who handmade lace sitting outside the funicular station to Murren, & many lovely walks in the valley. It seems so far away from me now, in northern Thailand where the air pollution from agricultural and deliberate forest burning is epically bad for months every year.
