Quite useful video and interesting feature. A question here, can you add pictures captured from that camera standpoint? Like an architecture photomontage or verified view. Thanks!
Is there a camera you recommend that most closely matches the human eye? I've heard a 60 mm is about right. I am wanting to generate naturally appearing scenes. Thanks.
Hi Justin, Thank's for your videos ! I'trying to prepare a video setup using Sketchup Advanced Camera Tools and Layout. It's almost done, but in Layout, when I use Sketchup scenes created by the camera tool, the veiw field is wider than in Sketchup. (The aspect ratio bars are showned) Is there a tip to get the same view field in both soft ?
@@Thesketchupessentials Not really , boss. I tried every possible way, but failed. I know in the `view` menu, there is 2 point perspective option, but when you set a 2 point perspective near the target building, you see a lot of ground, and almost half of building. you simply cant tilt camera to target upper side of the building and still keep the 2 point perspective view. I checked on youtube, google etc, no one seems to talk about either. the 2 point perspective function that is possible in 3DS MAX camera settings is not possible with Sketchup, unfortunately :( You can try and see the result
Thanks for the video! I'd like you to explain how to combine these tools with Vray because I'm having troubles with the aspect ratio, etc. when I launch the render. Hope you coud help me!
I'm not necessarily sure that you would - I'm pretty sure you'd want to use Vray's settings to adjust your renders, not the camera tools in SketchUp, but I haven't really played around with that all that much.
Hi, video is good but at least on my 2018 y functions very bad, moving with the keyboard is really bad, it jumps many meters, it's quite impossible to handle
@@Thesketchupessentials What about moving a camera along a path with smooth transitions, similar to Camera Key Maker? It does not seem to be available any more.
Willem Buiting i think you miss what i mean that i would want the cameras to come through. If you don't want cameras to come in max you just untick cameras when importing into max

I repeat the same Sri question, please:
Small query... Anyway to adjust vertical tilt (where vertical lines of the model will be adjusted).
Thanks.
Wich is the difference between cameras and scenes? And wich should I use to shot renders? Thanks, you re the best

Thanks for the video. I'd like you to explain how to import camera from one sketchup file to another sketchup file?
Hey Justin! Is there any option for a camera grid in this extension?
Thanks Justin!!!! Coud I delete the camera?
Thanks for the video.

love your tuts from 2020. Keep up the great work
Awesome thanks!
Great Video! Is there also a possibility of setting Focus via f-Stop changes so that we can have blurred out background in the render?
Your videos are so straightforward and well done. Thank you
Thanks very much!
wow, amazing tools
good info thanks more power .....
Good job man
Thanks!
Great video Justin - Is there a way to save a camera's location and all it's settings to load into another similar project?
I'm curious - how would saving the location work with a completely different project? I'm not aware of a way to do this
Good job Justin thanks
Thank you!

is that possible to remove tilt and make it 2 point perspective cameras for straight lines ?
I would assume so

😀
How do you get the cameras to "land" smoothly
Hi, video is good but at least on my 2018 y functions very bad, moving with the keyboard is really bad, it jumps many meters, it's quite impossible to handle
does it work with vray render ??
Thank dude
👍
Interesting. Thank you..
Thanks for watching!

hii justin, what is the name of plugin for viewing the bottom plane in sketchup ?
Viewing the bottom plane? I don't understand the question
@@Thesketchupessentials i meant was bottom view
Is there any extension that will allow animate the camera as if I am walking inside a model?
Sure - animator can do that - czcams.com/video/Mk5LbqdUwIg/video.html
@@Thesketchupessentials What about moving a camera along a path with smooth transitions, similar to Camera Key Maker? It does not seem to be available any more.
Worth noting the cameras come through when importing into max
Callum Cameron-Smith put them on a layer and turn off the layer when exporting. That should do the trick.
Willem Buiting i think you miss what i mean that i would want the cameras to come through. If you don't want cameras to come in max you just untick cameras when importing into max
Callum Cameron-Smith then, what is the problem Callum? I do not understand.
Willem Buiting its not a problem its a positive. Hence why i say worth noting, you can carry the physical camera properties through to max.
Callum Cameron-Smith aaaahhh. Ok. Probably my bad English. I apologize for creating this confusion. Greetings from the Netherlands.
What is this building you have?
I don't remember - maybe a 3D warehouse model? Or part of the building bundle from the Placemaker guys
God bro slowly give a setting all for sketup
I don't know what this means. I have a 14 hour course where I'm not sure I cover settings for ALL of SketchUp...
I am from bangladesh.

I'm not sure what exactly you're getting at, but unfortunately I only speak English, so that's the language the tutorials are in...
Just realized advanced camera tool is one of the most useless tools in Sketchup lol
To be honest I don’t find it very useful
Lol - the tool or the video? ;p
