How to fix and diagnose issues with Samsung Ecobubble Washing Machine

- Got an error message or issue with your Ecobubble. There are some REALLY simple fixes that you can check for and resolve before paying a professional. This video also shows how to put into test mode to confirm the issue.
It will show: How to remove and clean filter, check water inlet issues, drain issues, out of balance issues and how to resolve. The test/diagnosis shown will provide a code that you can look up at Samsung (see link below) or codes below:

I had UC after running the test. Checked the fuse and it was knackered. Changing the fuse sorted it. Saved £400. Cheers

A good video which really helped. Our machine was stuck on 11/12 minutes in a 15 minute cycle, door locked, seemed like a call out but I watched your video and checked a few things. Firstly the wash load was a big throw that we use on the dog sofa (yes, I know they shouldn't be up there but my partner lets her 2 dogs up there, my 2 dogs don't go up there). So the load was too heavy. Plus there may have been a kink in the water feed so I made sure that was okay. Then I drained the bottom filter - yuk - and unplugged the little hose and a few drops of black water came out. It still didn't drain, seemed to gurgle a lot, so I checked the drain hose, disconnected it and made sure it was clear. Couldn't disconnect the motor hose though, too tight for my big hands. Anyway... put the machine back on, set it to rinse and spin with NOTHING in the drum and lo and behold it started working again. By the way I used the two right hand buttons to diagnose the E3 problem as in the video. So it could be more than one problem that causes the machine to stop. I just kept going through the list until it started working again. Thank you.

This is a great video! I just regret buying this washer it is the worst washer I’ve ever known. My latest problem is the extreme squeaking coming from it. 🤦🏻♀️

I couldn't get mine to go into diagnostic mode. I pressed the spin and option buttons, turned the power on and it just looked like it normally does. I turned the programme selector dial a few times and nothing happened so I stopped but it carried on going around the programme selector clock. I switched it off. Turned it back on and it carried on. I opened the door and it seemed to be waiting so I've put it on a 95c baby care wash. The issue with mine is keeps stopping part way through the washes though someone has pressed pause (although they haven't). However, I have never known before about cleaning the filter so I've done that- thank you! Really good and informative video.

It's just stopped again and been stuck at 2:12. I've had to.pause and play it again to get it to advance. This keeps happening.
It may be (but guessing) that the pause button is sticky so keeps involuntary pressing on a cycle. It is the only thing I can think that would cause it. Get a vacuum cleaner and try to see if can suck any dust out around the button...just be careful to not be too excessive and suck the button clean off or cause more damage. Alternative is to softly blow around the button to get rid of dirt and dust. Hope helps.

Helped me learn more about the machine I had a leak issue with ours found a hole at the bottom rear of the plastic tub don't no what caused it or if there was something that was supposed to be in there I just sealed it up and and ain't had a problem since

8 years ours lasted and has been hammered with kids clothes n bedding fucking unbelievable machine if u ask me and cheaper in electricity
We’ve had ours 9 years. Had early issue with faulty circuit board causing failure of drum to rotate half way through programme. Samsung replaced free as was under 5 years parts guarantee. No problems after that. Fault was poor soldering on the circuit board. No problems since.
I understand why, the very minor issue’s I had were very easily sorted out with the help of Utube.

@@ratemygadgetsI followed your instructions for the diagnostic test and the machine was still going over two hours later. Initially, the problem was 5C and water wasn’t draining.
My dial is broken I put a new one in but still turns around in air I done realised it has a metal clip at the back that came off I cannot select washers for Spin Cycles do you know how I can fix it the first happens when I went to clean behind it and pulled it off it was working fine after 6-months is started to turn around selecting replacing the not I realised that a small metal ring loose hanging on the metal bar where you were replace the knob but it does not seem to clip onto anything

Thank you for your video. I've been working my way through the possible faults. When I push the spin, option and on buttons, the dial on the left lights up and the lights move around clockwise automatically. It doesn't let me do this manually to allow me to test. Please advise 🤔

Hi. My washing machine is same but 8 Kg. The magnifying 🔎 consists of 2 buttons 1 option and 2 Delay End. While holding those 2 buttons I am pressing switch on button but all lights don't show meaning the machine doesn't give option to run test. Can you please help
I have a Samsung ecobubble and the drive belt has come off. The reference on the belt doesn't match the actual belt measurement. Its shorter than size stated ,there also look like someone has added something to the bar that the belt goes on to stop it rolling off when it rotates which has eroded and left bits on the floor inside.

Hi there. We have a samsung front load washing machine, and we noticed it takes longer than usual to wash. One time I noticed, when the timer was down to 7 minutes of washing, it changed to 16 minutes. What seems to be the problem? Thanks in advance
Depends. It could be a genuine problem if it happens during the cycle and is the same issue I had. If it happens before a new washing starts then not an issue. Let me explain. Let's go with the bigger issue.....if part way through a cycle (so well into the wash) and then the time displayed doesn't reduce or increases then something at that point in the cycle has gone wrong. Either it hasn't been able to drain provided heat, spin etc so it keeps trying. If near the end then likely a draining or high spin issue so keeps adding time to resolve the issue which if it doesn't means you have along term issue. If the cycle finishes eventually then may be intermittent. Now for lesser issue and to be expected. If display provided shows let's say 30mins before you start the cycle and then on hitting go it increases, this could be expected. The washing machine will weigh the load on start and if heavier than expected then it increases the time for washing as needs more time to add water, spin, drain etc. Hope helps. Thanks for making this video. My 7 year old machine is dead. I have changed fuse on plug twice but still not responding and zero lights showing. I followed the press the 2 buttons and on/off switch but still nothing. Any thoughts ?
If there is NO power then definitely (and stating obvious) a power supply issue. I have another video on how to change a moulded plug. Obviously only undertake if feeling confident, but you need to hope it is the plug. If not, then something will have gone in the machine OR (unlikely) the control panel display has failed. If have any.dpubt, please consult a qualified electrican or washing machine engineer. Let me know how you get on.
I had a similar problem with my Samsung it got down to 9 minutes and then just kept going round slowly I think it was over loaded I checked filter as you advised but still the same so I stopped it and took out one of the small blankets out and left the other one in and it span

Any chance you could advise me please? My Samsung ecobubble machine is not taking the fabric softener, I've done all the cleans but notice if I put my finger in the drain away hole it's clogged. Can you tell me if that is indeed just a hole or an actual pipe as I don't want to push gunk further down and block it further down? Also how can I access it to clean as it's very fiddly. The two screws on the front I think are just for the fascia panel? Any ideas please?
If end of drain pipe then should be clear. Get end of a screw driver and plug anything out of there. Do a drain cycle. Please do like and subscribe as really helps me.

Hi. I have the WW90TA046X. It makes an awful squeaky noise when washing and when spinning, a loud tapping noise. Iv been in touch with samsung many times and iv tried what theyvhave suggested...i practically brand new, have for less than 2 months. Just did drain and spin on one towel (maybe 8pcm x 30cm), it made the loudest tapping noise. Why? Any help appreciated. Thanks
Is it tapping as if something is in the drum? It may be that you've had a zip or coin find its way in between drum and outer housing.
I had a problem with the spin, it was a Loose belt. There was a large nut in the middle of the drum that needed tightened.

Hello, I have a samsung ww90k5410ux washing machine. It gives me a 5C code. Had it for about 5+ years already. I tried to unscrew the filter pump cap but only the cap comes off. The filter remains inside so I have no clue of how to take the filter inside out. I feel the cap should be attached to the filter but seems it isnt.
I would guess then that the filter is stuck in place as gunged up (that is a word I think). Can you see into the filter to see if it is clogged? If so, it might be hard work and careful don't damage it but pulling out the debris with fingers may mean can eventually pull the whole unit out. Hope helps. When you do diagnost test need to be connect to water suppplier?

Hi there, I've got just a red key symbol on my EcoBubble display and it won't finish a cycle. Any ideas what this could point to?
I would guess, but no promise, it hasn't drained fully. It means it has finished the cycle but will not unlock until it senses the drum has drained. Check if there is water in there. If so, put it on drain mode and watch it. If it doesn't go down, you have your answer. Either a blocked drain pipe (check filter and pipe) or worse, a failed drain pump. Any doubt seek advice from a qualified washing machine engineer. Let us know how you get on.

I have an issue with my machine which is exactly like the one on the video.
When I start the program I hear some clicking noise from around the display and the machine just doesn't start to drain ... it looks like it may be that the door doesn'tlock because I don't see the key light and the door is not locked.
Any idea how to fix it?

Knob on eco bubble 8kg doesn't select. Call the knob out and a washer came out with it bought a new knob but it still doesn't select do I have to change the whole panel
Not sure. If the knob had just been turning and not moving the spindle then maybe not. It may be a new knob would fix it. I think you need an engineer.

Mine seems to be very sensitive to how level it is.. the smallest of increments make or breaks weather it decides to spin.
Also- couldn't get mine to go into diagnostics mode. // ah well... meeh- it's working now.. until the next time.....

I’m looking for some advice please to diagnose my Samsung Bubblewash Front Loader which doesn't return any errors but won't do a high speed spin.
It's a Samsung Bubblewash WF1104XAC XSA 03 front loader.
When it reaches the spin cycle (13 minutes total is shown on the display) the drum spins slowly one way then stops and spins slowly the other way (I understand this is called a redistribution cycle to help the machine drain). Then once the machine reaches 9 minutes left it stops counting down, but continues with the same motion for a long time. After a long time, perhaps 20 minutes, the timer eventually starts counting down again (still with the redistribution motion), but still does not do a normal high speed spin. No errors are appearing on the machine.
I’ve put the machine into diagnostic mode and did a “spin test” which worked fine, up to 1320rpm.
I’m currently suspecting the main PCB or perhaps a door, pressure or vibration sensor. 2 years ago I replaced the main PCB but the diagnosis was a little more obvious back then (machine wouldn’t agitate properly).
I've so far checked:
· The drainage filter (all clear) and pump (plenty of water comes out strongly during a drain cycle)
· The pressure switch (tube wasn't blocked and resistance across terminals 1&3 was 21ohms as expected). I haven't blown into the switch to check the diaphragm though.
I'm wondering about the following next steps:
· pressure switch more complete check
· Remove door lock/sensor and check (removal is easy but not sure what to check)
· Test of vibration sensor (again, not sure what to check though)
Any advice or tips very much appreciated!
I would, like yourself, have said PCB. The machine in doing the distributing cycle is either doing this for a set time regardless or needs some inputs before the fast spin kicks in. These checks would, i guess, be had it drained and/or is vibration below a threshold. Simple things I would do (but probably done) 1. Check feet level so removing any excessive vibration 2. Clear the drain pipe, any backing up water would mean the machine takes an age to drain 3. Do a high spin and dry cycle without a wash, if this works then know it is the threshold limits the machine needs to see. Not sure if helps. Please do subscribe as really helps me.
Hi i have the same washing machine the issue am facing is that the buttons on the dash stopped working ecept the on/off play buttons so i can actually use the washing machine but cant adjust ant of the cycles (spin , water temp..) any pointers would be highly appreciated
Note: Child lock is not on :)
Is the display still working? If so, then do try (but not likely to work) unplug from the wall(Obviously when empty and not mid load). Give it a few mins and plug back in. It mayhave got itself in a weird cycle loop OR the buttons are not working? Hope helps, please do like the video and subscribe.

My washing machine keeps turning off even tho I’ve replaced the mother board what’s going on?!?!?

@@mohammadaskari7487 Yes, there was a problem on the electronic chip. We replace it with 90€ for a new one.
