#TheConsultant #Clip #PrimeVideo - Zábava
Christoph Waltz dominates any scene he's in. What a fantastic actor.
He definitly plays a believable Nazi
Right?! He's literally THE consultant (in a film about a psychotic consultant) sitting in a darkened office at 3:00AM, analyzing the woman's personnel file. How in the *world* was he able to dominate this scene?! (I smell Emmy!)🙄
@@gabecodina that is because he come from the land of Nazi and he know how they think because are still existing real life Nazis I this world. Germany and Austria are full of them. But anyway nice guy I love him and his acting. A real gentleman
You know you’re screwed when Christoph Waltz is interrogating you with a pen and paper at hand.
and a cup of ... milk...
I think it means you’re in a movie. Probably not screwed.
Yeah, and at 3:00 a.m. in the goddamn morning!
That's a bingo :O)
What other movie reference is this…
I feel like this could be the start of a adult film scene lol
You wish😂
Oh the gifs I wish I could reply to this comment with.
Actually, James Spader starred in a 2002 film titled "Secretary" that is not porn, but is definitely an adult themed film. Don't watch the trailers, view it without hints of the storyline.
I’m sure that’s what everything seems like. That’s the thing about porn addiction, it obliterates all normal perceptions thereby completely distorting reality.
@@Eli-gg9zd relax bro it was a joke lol
Elaine’s evolution was super interesting in this show
yes I loved the scene when they showed her walking to the office with the song "devil in disguise" playing.
Reminded me of the opening scene of inglorious basterds at first, when he was writing down what the dairy farmer told him
you're hiding enemies of the state are you not?
This was so good. Love Christoph 💯
He forgot to ask for a glass of milk
and pull out an abnormally large pipe.
I wanted to see him eating churros later in that same scene. After "inglourius basterds", I remember searching for the best strudel in my town. 😋
If she was eating them this firm is def located in San Antonio.
I liked him in Django better. That scene outside the bar, perfect.
Christoph Waltz AKA Hans Landa studying all the "Files" of "Companies" he has "consulted" leaves me the impression that some workers will be "let go" or "vanish" in the future.
This should have ended with the phrase "No I called you in to tell you that you're fired."
This is almost relatable. When my fkn MD calls me at 3:30 AM to say that he wants an empty narrow column to make the table's header look more separated.
And then proceeds to sort only 1 half of the table because there is no column heading in that narrow column, meaning all the data is now mis-aligned...
Fantastic show!
1:15.... well, below average, but Yes.
In fairness, it's not his fault that she decided to wear sweat pants.
Thank you, Quentin.
Almost like real life, except that salary is too high
Running in 🏃♀️💨😂
Great scene, except for the "carbon footprint" line which felt forced. You're in the consultant's office at 3am, where he just called you average in 3 different ways. The company's use of paper seems quite irrelevant at that exact moment.
I'd say it's a dig at corporates who think they're doing good in the world but in reality they're just a cog in the machine like every generation before them. Only this time they do it with a coat of green paint.
3 am is the witching hour
I liked this series and although it's based on a book and I don't know how different it is from the source material I feel I want to see more of Regus. There's too much mystery about him. Besides giving someone's phone away all he did was give people options...😅
he is the devil
Shes so pretty.
Where's the rest of it?
this show is too real for me.... i can't
"On a server" that is constantly consuming energy....carbon neutral.....whaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Seriously though who doesn’t know that your employer knows where you live? Of course they know
I live with my two cousins!
I'm whelmed
He just called her at 3 am. She could have worn jeans or something.
Maybe it's not usual in America, but I know the address, phone number and Email of all the people in my team. It's not that weird, is it? My HR system even tells me when their birthday is so I have the option to do something nice for them.
Gets weirder after, sure, but the scene could have been, "[Address]", "yes, it's a bit out of the way", "with x and y" and that's the shocking bit :D
Its very weird...my bosses have no clue where I live lol
This isnt too wild, but this scene implies more. Typically you don't tell your employer who your roommates are, or is this info accessible for any employee to snap their fingers and look at. In other words, the show writers are implying that hes done a more invasive search like a background check on her. And listing back this info at 3am just adds to the creepiness.
@@DeadLikeYou So I totally accept that and agree, my point is though that she acts surprised not by those additional bits of information, but by the fact he knows where she lives. That shouldn't be shocking to her. The screenwriters needed to move her surprise to later in the exchange, it's just an odd place to put it.
Сериал уже вышел? Или это просто часть ещё невышедшего сериала?
Is live
@@oloolo1372, thanks
@@oloolo1372 live right now?
Warning! This is for mature audiences only.
imagine if he would of pulled out a pipe and started smoking it 🤣
Magnolia?
Hellsing ultimate
The hun, always at your throat or at your feet
"It's all we can afford"
earns 62k a year
lol... stop buying avocado toast every day.
what exactly is this teasing ? i'm confused
I'll be damned if I'm coming in to work off-schedule at 3:00 a.m.--not for a "hair less" than $62,000.
Employee address is with hr why she so surprised?
He's reading a physical file, she assumed all her records were digital as a "paperless office" is part of the selling being carbon neutral. Hence her surprised they had a room with physical records.
Ahahahagahah
Ah, a hair under average.
All the organisations I work for have a records room, even the 3rd Reich
This is the scene where I stopped watching the show. Let's say your new boss calls you in the middle of the night, how would you show up? In your pajamas? Sure! (just like her collegue who shows up also in her pajamas right after that scene)... It's silly stuff like this that destroyed the show for me...
One thing is for sure is that we all need to save up money and invest it so we are not at the mercy of our employers.
I think he made it clear she was slightly BELOW average
Why did he actually call her in?
google ""witching hour"" he is the devil. he is testing her. will she do anything for the career... ?
So glad, he doesn't reach for his pipe. THAT would scare the s* out of me.
Why this feels like a hans landa knock off?
If they get up at 3am, when do they go to sleep? 7pm? If 7pm , then that’s nuts .
Still waiting for him to pull out his oversized pipe and ask if it's okay to smoke.
I’m firsttt😊
A 20-something who actually shows up at the office? (Must not've been a Monday.)
the truth is,he called her in at 3am to tell her that she´s black 😆
This is a great show so far but the bias on Catholicism is completely inaccurate. They make it as if the women can't marry craig, unless he takes classes to become a catholic. I'm catholic and we believe every marriage is blessed by God, because it is. Getting married in a church, allows you to get the blessing of the church and the grace from the sacrament of marriage. Plenty of Catholics are not married in a church.
I was told i cannot get married in my catholic church unless they have done holy communion and shit. LOL
@@triumphoverdeath yea, like i said. If you want to get married INSIDE the church and get the churches blessing, then you have to do what they ask you too. That is reasonable if you want the churches blessing. If you want to just get married, you can get married anywhere, it's still blessed by God. It's not like they kick you out of the church.
If your a practicing catholic, then you should understand the sacraments and how they view marriage. Noone forces a catholic to be married in the church, but if you want to be then there are rules.
@wouldntyouliketoknow❤ no, no, no thats some grade A horseshit...you're doing this whole "God blesses every marriage" tripe and then going on to say we'll actually he only blesses the marriages he actually allows happen...as in the gays can go screw it...
And my cousin married a girl in Poland the priest almost canceled the wedding cause he found out they lived together first
shows up in sweatpants to an emergency meeting....yupp average
A bachelors degree can't be average it can be the median (if ordered) or better a mode, but not average, mistake on his part.
You’re confusing average with the more specific term mean. You can call the median or mode the average.
For every masters degree, you have a GED. For every doctorate, you have someone who never finished high school. Yes, BA can be average, even with discrete classifications. The point of the conversation was that she was decidedly unexceptional, despite her own belief otherwise.
median and mode are types of averages
Slightly below average
Yes, this is completely fictional. Based on the information he just shared, he would be fired.
Yes, this is completely fictional. Based on the information he just shared in 1:08 he would be fired.
@@asanokatana I work in consulting and the word confidential is something you would hear all the time if you interact with consultants. People who work in consulting are very careful about the information we share. In some cases, the employees are not even aware of what we are doing in their organization. If one employee discussed with his superiors information I shared with him about his company, my firm could be sued and I will instantly lose my job. So I know what I'm talking about
I love the concept but my god this is such a terribly written scene.
