I just got shy and blushed when jimin came out..
FUN FACT: apparently Teddy the producer of the song, had Jimin in his mind for a song for 2 YEARS, but BTS weren't doing solo work yet, then Taeyang met up with Jimin and asked him to be on this song, and that's how it happened! Taeyang said Jimin was way more passionate than him and it motivated him a lot. I love how anyone who meets Jimin is in awe of both his star power and hard working personality!
Yeah, and same how Psy was so motivated after working on That That with Yoongs ... it's so wonderful & heart-warming how, even after 10 yrs in the industry themselves, our boys passion & enthusiasm rubs off on those who've been around longer & who they've looked up to ☺

The dance moves are so sexy! That’s what grabs me. The choreo in chorus. It gives me life. Jimin usually isn’t my favourite vocal in BTS but I feel like he adds such a good edge for the song this time. Jimin’s voice is so good for pop. It’s very modern and “now”, almost futuristic like his voice is gonna be the new trend. Makes the song more interesting. His voice is the “pop” element. I don’t know how to explain it but I love Jimin here! I love his part even more than I expected.
Jimin and taeyang sound so perfect together, just beautifully meshed. This is the best collab ever. Jimin jumped out of that little box hybe had him in and became the real jimin.
I hope Jimin continues to do things his way. It working out well. 👋👏👏👏
I think is difficult for everyone in BTS to shine equaly it happens in a few songs, but we can clearly see Jungkook and sometimes V carring most of the songs, Jk voice is so versatil and the producers favorite( this includes the boys)
But now we can see other side of the members, they are trying new things and when they come back, It's gonna be different!

Great collab! My first intro to Taeyang except for baby Jimin vibing and dancing to him years ago and he sounds great and got moves. But now to Jimin that I know; just wow amazing vocals and the bridge vocals was angelic, the ad-libs crazy and the moves wow. And I love that Jimin's verse was gender neutral.
And I also got even more excited for Jimin's solo album after hearing this.
I hope I don't see anymore shit from the fandoms trying to put down one artist, it just made me feel less interested and less excited about hearing Taeyang when people in his fandom came after Jimin with hate. They don't seem to get that their sh*t reflects badly on their Taeyang and make people associate bad things with him. If the fandom is loving and welcoming it make you wanna get to know them and the artist but act badly and you wanna stay away.
I come from metal and all other kinds of music and never seen stupidity like these hateful fandoms. I think this thing with fan wars and hate is so childish and just damaging for everyone and mostly for the artist who has the hatful fandom, not so much for the artist they hate on. So it is to no use at all.
Yeah, I do not, nor will I ever, understand why the fans of people they collab with can be so h8ful. I'm only 2 years Army, but it seems like those "fans" don't respect their artist, don't think they can make decisions for themselves, don't want them to make a fxckton of money in single/ album sales. Because if there's one thing Army's gonna do, it's throw money at it. Everything dollar/won/yen/peso/euro/etc we have.

And by being sh1theads, they're turning Armys off the collab artist's discography/band/group. I've only ever been Army, so I've got no exposure to other kpop groups except when the Tannies cover them or mention a song/award/etc. I'm old, so that's probably why only Seo Taiji & Boys - along with Epik High - have piqued my interest. The way THOSE guys admire BTS sealed the deal. (At Epik High concert, which was also PTD LV Day 2, Tablo quipped how he appreciated the full house when BTS was across the street, how he kinda wished he was over there, too!)
So, will I stan Meghan, or Nikki, Charlie, Benny or any of the artists that cut a track with them? If we're being honest? No. Most likely not. Will I fork over money for Halsey, Ed, Uncle Steve, Psy, or Epik High? Bet your a$$ I will - And HAVE. Treat my boys right and I'll take a chance. (So glad I already liked Erykah and esp Cold Play. The way Chris talks about them is just so heartwarming.)
Anyhoo...TLDR; putting down my boys is not the way to entice me to listen to more from your artist. It's gatekeeping & I've STILL got so much content to catch up on that I'm not going to go out of my way to fold your guy(s) into my schedule.
(Seriously, listen to the interview with Taeyang & hear how complementary he is toward Jimin. Be more like your artists, people.)

I hate that the loudest, dumbest fans are the visible ones, the small percentage of fans that many people end up drawing an opinion on the band. And having an enormous base exacerbates the problem.
The current theory is 1-2% are the "toxic" fans. If even 2%... given the size of the Fandom, that's potentially a million Toxic Army. I'm not even including the solos, mantis, OT6/5/4/3...
I've curated almost all my soc med to filter out that noise so I don't have to see or read it. Might need to lift those for a short while or make a Gen "Stop being an asshole" post.

Yes, yes, YES!! This was LITERALLY me when I first heard this song! I was the biggest Taeyang bias when I was really into Big Bang back in the day (wow, I feel SO old now) and thought that his R&B vocals were top notch... but when Park Jimin came on the track, my jaw literally dropped! I was blown away by his charisma, his smooth vocals, and his stage presence! *swoon* He owned that track. 💜

Oh Landon, I so went to the same place the second JIMIN came on-I was like "I am going to just die when PJM1 comes out!!!" I can't...honestly-OMG! I mean...this is Taeyang's song. So, we don't really know what Jimin's solo album will sound like, but he does sound lovely on this type of song!! I personally think ANYONE who collabs with any member of BTS and features them in their song is BRAVE!!! They are all so good, and it's very easy for them to take over the spotlight. I'm so happy that some of them are getting to do things with their idols and with some of the industry greats!!! Just lovely to see!

Honestly no disrespect here but for me Jimin brought the song alive, he brought flavour, a litttle "je ne sais quoi" or should I say the X factor. Maybe because the song suits Jimin voice better. And it's a shame cause Tayang has really an extraordinary voice but here he came out just good not extraordinary. Sorry hjust my humble opinion. Jimin killed it.
