In Good Omens, the anti Christ, who was raised by a normal family, took on demons, the military and even Satan, his father, and prevailed. But he got terrified when his Dad showed up in his car trying to find out "the hell was going on and what are you and the rest of these kids doing at a military base." The anti Christ got grounded for a whole month (or maybe years, he couldn't be sure)

So, he knows that there will be some penalties here but since he loves and respects his family and he knows that Dad is upset and how is he to explain to his parents that he stopped the devil and that he is really the Anti Christ. So, what is the horrible penalty - he probably got the "we just disappointed in what you did but we love you and you are grounded." The groundation will probably be over in a week (or less).

Hey, could be. Maybe he's imitating his father. It makes a good back story, especially how he goes rogue, very soldier like and self-reliant, to the government building to find Will. I always liked that part....I really like that back story, hopefully they went with that. It fits his "Never leave a man behind" attitude. Maybe his dad was left behind so it resonates in Lucas.
