Fun fact, AD stands for Anni Domini, "the year of our Lord" and refers to the time since Jesus birth. Not his death. So there's no such thing as a Christian Church from 5 AD.

Yeah it's funny, you'd think they'd have researched it a little. This man is worshiping a random 5 year old with a symbol of that child's death 3 decades later. And that wasn'tt even the early christian symbol; the fish was.

​​​​@@natecar1if you watched the movie, this priest is referenced as to have served under emporer justinian, the Christian Roman emporer who's reign took place some 500 years after christs birth. 500 years is more than enough time to establish a religious following.
(The Greco-roman symbols on the shields are a pretty cool detail.)

Common misconception that AD means “after death”. But Jesus was considered the to about 33 when he died yeah? So this movie meant to say 38 AD. Not a big difference in the grand scheme of time.
