- Here is how to connect the subwofer on the 2 channel left and right amplifier. The truth is that this amplifier have a lot of bass so the subwoofer really works on lows and you don't need additional filters or equaliser to bring the lows out..

Using the amp in that configuration will shorten it's useful life or damage it in a short amount of time. Look up the specs on a tpa 3116 amp chip

I ordered the Lepy lp-2024 from Amazon and It played really well
lp-2020A (class D)or lp--2020A+(Tripath class T) is sound a lot better than lp-2024...

I think the negative is common. Check it with a multi tester or check the circuit board.
What if you have just a plus and a minus from a crossover module with a sub and a mid? how does that work?
How silly - is the ground and it's common. the + is the only channel that is driving the subwoofer. Use a lepy 2.1 channel amplifier.

nah that is definitely about 40-50 watts and from experience this amp can definitely run 4-5 speakers (wired in series and bridging of course) so yeah that amp is very capable
Can I know the impedance of the woofer and of the two speakers? I'm figuring out how you connect both channels to the woofer and how the equivalent impedance changes that way
Connecting 2 speakers per channel in parallel brings the impedance below that of either speaker and may damage the amplifier.

hi how would this be possible to use with headphones what would i need i tried plugging headphones in but when i turn volume up they just play through the speakers.
The AUX ports are inputs, not outputs.
Did you use 13.5 or 12v power supply ?
Also was it 2A or 3A.
My manual says it needs 3A or more.
But I'm using it with a 2A supply and it's working fine.
Will it cause any damage later ?
I using 12V 3A.. it probably won't do any damage, but mybe just produce les power.. depend what is the amplifier real constant working power consumption.. if is the required 3A than I suspect that the amplifier is not working on 3A constantly.. but is this the maximum consuption on the highest current spike.. so it could work on less power supply, but it not provide the maximum power output.

dammit l had the original tripath version of this amplifier and l accidentally blew it up a few years ago, and now those little amps are gone forever.

You can. Use a relay 12V DC with a N.O. connection. Connect the stereo's amp control wire to A1 and a GND wire to A2. Then connect the 12V+ from the battery of the car to the COM connection of the relay. Then take the N.O. port of the relay and connect it to the + side of the "jack" and a GND from any metal surface of the car also to the "jack". Then use RCA cables to connect the output of the car stereo to the input of the AMP.

@@mrlotus8049 Well, I don't recomed it. It's best to take a wire of 1,5mm2 from your 12V+ of the battery, find a hole on the firewall of the car. Push the wire through the rubber by poking a small hole with a small screwdriver. And take a ground (12V-) from any metal surface into the car. Make sure that the surface is rust and paint free! As for the wire that goes to your battery, use a line fuse holder as near to the battery as posible! The amplifier isn't very powerful, so I don't believe you need a 6mm2 wires, like a big amp would need. But, in any case, use a 3A fuse to your wire! The same amper the amplifier needs. See at the back how many it needs.
