The frame rate drop issue is related to emulator performance, not the console software. Most emulators take time to load shaders after launching a game. If you frequently play a specific game, it should run smoothly, but the cache of less frequently played games unloads over time, causing lag

I had the same issues with the same games on the PS2 emulator.
Run using Vulkan and Audio Synchronization Mode in Async Mix. You'll have more fun after this.

My only problem with the odin 2 is the ghosting. Nobody talks about this but it is really bad on it. I wish they had a better display in terms of it. If that wasnt an issue for me it would be the perfect retro handheld.

There some things that's as others have mentioned here are the realm of the emulator and not for ayn to fix. The issue I have is with the on screen controller mapping. It some times misses inputs, mainly the analogue.

Great handheld, I was planning to buy this, but I decided to buy Ayaneo 2(used) instead, specifically because I paid the same price like Odin 2 Max.Ayaneo give me the same possibilities as Odin 2 and much more !!! Easy and right choice!

Pretty sure it's well known that Switch Emulators still aren't perfect. Any issues you are having with switch emulators are almost definitely related the the emulator not the AYN software.

For the device to be as big as it is, they could’ve put bigger buttons, I play on the PlayStation and I’m used to those type of bigger buttons and I hate the joystick locations. I wish they were more like the Playstation, that’s why I’m considering the RP4pro, but I think that this device is Futureproof for the most part

5:05 android will use as much ram as available to keep things snappy because its readily available in memory. You won't have any issues with a lack of ram because android will release the memory and reallocate it for you foreground app. Its not a windows PC its android.
The issues you have with games are all emulator related. Its not for Ayn to fix, its the emulator developers that need to further optimize and fix. In the case of AetherSX its been abandoned and no longer gets updated. Yuzu is in its infancy on Android and it will be a while before it runs things close to perfect.
I suggest you look up guides and forums to see if some of your performance issues have been addressed or fixed with settings.

I got a Logitech G Cloud. Its not as powerful. But i didn't like the placement of the D-Pad on the Oden. It just looks like it would be unconformable for 2D Games.

The odin is far more comfortable in the hand than you think. Plus it has so much more power than any other android device ..out there. I have odin 1 pro, Anbernic rg353v, Retroid pocket 3+ and Odin 2 pro clear blue..like them all ...but the odin 2 is an absolute beast of a handheld device compared to them.

Yes, the d-pad and analog sticks are an issue. They're too small and doesn't give you the precision needed in certain games. If you play casual or slow paced games, it won't be an issue.

nah sorry bro, you got meme'd
shouldve went for a gen 3 device, not a gen 2. its 50% faster, and from my testing, runs carbon, mw and ug2 *perfectly* at 3x render res.
its also more power efficient, so battery lasts longer.
i'd try to get it refunded if i still could, and grab myself anything with a sd8g3 chip instead of sd8g2

Don't be like that. Enjoy the device, but don't act like everything he's saying is user error. Some of the issues he mentioned are real issues with the Odin 2. We need videos praising the Odin 2 while allowing for criticism as well.
