Wow. That blows. Well I'm done with racing. This is the second damn time I've sent cars to tracks and something goes wrong. I think the mail delivery is f*cking up my cars along the way because they run nice when they leave here.
@@rockettcustoms6266 cars can run very differenly on different tracks. I had one not even finish on the 1st track race, then the 2nd track I won my first match.... keep at it!!
Nah don't give up man. This specific build just wasn't ideal for my track. Outside of it being almost 10 grams heavier than regulation for this series, because it was a chasis swap, it ended up being a bit too wide for the first turn from the start. Because the angle isn't steep from the start to the first turn, the wideness of the body caused it to get stuck there. If I were to power push the car thru then it would clear it. When I ran the car from after the first corner, it rode well when there is positive gravity but dies when it comes to endurance parts of the track. That might be due to the weight distribution. Please don't give up, on another track that's more gravity and speed focused I believe your build would make it.
Hey will there be video of the qualifying sessions?. I submitted a car that didn't make the cut. I wouldn't mind seeing all the runs, so I can build a better car next time.
I did not record the time trials. The 7 that finished but did not make the top 30 raced in this video. So I imagine your car is one of the 4 that did not finish the track. You can reach out to me on the shady valley diecast racing facebook page and I can show you how your car does on the track.

Dudes, the Rockett Customs car is a '51 Studebaker not a '55 Chevy. It's a chassis swap.
