back in the 90s mr savini would do comic shows and would sign autographs for free! he hardly ever had a line for signings so it was really easy to go up and talk to him. i got a dawn of the dead poster book from him for 20 bucks i couldnt believe he still had them. he was always very nice and seemed to like to talk about everything he had worked on.
i meet tom back in oct 2015 in orlando it was terminator2 3D waiting to get inside and i saw this man walking towards me and i said is that tom savini and i said you look like an actor and he ask me about my watch
I met him last year at the 40th anniversary of Friday 13 in New Jersey he was very nice but again under the weather it just seems like every time he’s being interviewed he’s under the weather he might want to get that checked out just saying
God I realize he's under the weather in this perticular interview, but he seems sick to DEATH of answering all the same fucking questions over and over?
It’s pretty telling that the “worst” experience he has had, also happens to be one of the best horror remakes of all time

His remake of Night of the living dead was probably better than the original. It is so rare a remakes does justice it's predecessor
