Gillian character was so professional, hard driven, serious and no nonsense on the X-files. The first time I saw her interviewed I could thought, Here's the Goldie Hawn of the 90's. What a sweetheart she is, she should have done some comedy, she'd be perfect at that to.

For a laugh, watch GA's full interview (recent) with Jimmy Kimmel - she was so loose and not nervous. I wonder if it's because there is not an audience and you can be more relaxed. Her clip from Letterman was funny, too.. And, we all know her laugh is the best.

I've only seen her in Sex Education and The Crown, but knowing that she has an American accent is bugging me more than it should LMAO
EDIT: Watching the rest, what accent is actually hers?? lol
She kind of switches between both, whether consciously or not. She’s lived in both England and The U.S throughout her life, so I think they both kind of come naturally to her.
She spent a lot of her childhood in the UK and then her teenager years in the US and then lived in England since she was in her 30s. So if anything her British accent is her "natural" one and the American one she adopted when she was older to fit in.
