Dont forget that he is 16, but, that being said, cant say he really impressed me, specially comparing Vini, Rodri, Valverde or Endrick at that age. Still a good talent to follow. He can improve a lot

I absolutely knew about Valverde, Vini and Rodri at 16 (or close to 16). I watched Valverde’s games at Castilla, and Ive been watching Endricks games at Palmeiras.

@@Jefstito I would gladly accept that ''Valverde at 16'' compilation you are talking about, becuase the only video you can find is Valverde at 17, meaning, one year older than Mastantuono, and when i watch that comp i see absolutely nothing impressive, i would even argue more quality is shown in this Mastantuono compilation than in the Valverde one that he was one year older than Mastantuono, and not only that, you are straight up lying because Valverde made his debut at 17, meaning, at 16 he wasn't even playing professional football.

@@decksteaparty wtf are you talking about? Omg… really? Im a LIAAAR because Valverde was a few months older than 16 when he debuted? Lol but you should have read the wikipedia better. Valverde was the talk of the town way before he debuted. In fact, Peñarol actually gave him a debut BECAUSE a lot of European clubs wanted him and I believe it was part of the contract when Madrid signed him, that Peñarol would get more money if Valverde did X amount of games but I could be misremembering. I remember Valverde clearly because he was actually the first or one of the first young “expensive” (5 million for such a young uruguayan player was weird back then).
I never said I watched a compilation of Valverde at 16, but I knew about him (Madrid signed him in may of 2015 when he was still 16, and there were news months before that). I did mentioned in my first comment that I watched other players at “that age” in my first comment thinking of VERY young players, which 17 stills very much qualifies (I also MENTIONED 4, and you are stuck at 1 for a technicality, but whatever). And, again, COMPILATIONS? Are you kidding me? I watched Valverde’s games at Peñarol after he was signed (still being extremely young, BARELY 17; which wasnt easy because for whatever reason he wasnt even called for the first team as often as I thought he should) and then Castillas games and he immediately blew me away. The only madrid shirt I own with a name is Valverde’s because it was love at first sight with him and because I was so proud when he finally became a regular on the first team and gave us a fucking Champions league.
I try not to ONLY follow compilations and actually watch the players, because you dont learn much on a reel like this. Usually when Madrid signs a young player I didnt watch before, I would watch old games to see him. Thats what I did with Camavinga, Militao, Tchouameni… with Latin American players its sometimes easier nowadays because they are signed years before they can actually join Madrid; same reason why I followed Flamengo and Santos back then, and now Im following Palmeiras only when Endrick plays which is surprisingly a lot.
But regardless of ALL THAT, you are bitching and getting almost defensive as if I talked shit of Mastantuono. I said he has not surprised me YET but that he is a good talent to FOLLOW and that I want to see how he evolves.
Vini, Rodri and Endrick were immediate beasts, Valverde was able to run like a maniac, had an amazing physique and also a lot of technique (I remember thinking it was a mixture of Gattuso and Guti; which was something special to me because I love those players). This guy can drible, but I dont see a powerful or precise shot to finish it, particularly good vision, a powerful physique or a particular skill with world class potential YET, which also doesnt surprise me because he is 16, which I mentioned in my first comment. Im still gonna follow his progression because Madrid is never interested in shitty players and I can see that Mastantuono could be something special . All I said is that he has not surprise me just yet and you couldnt handle it

La gente que parlotea no se da cuenta que tiene 16 años y que para tener esa serenidad y confianza con la pelota a esa edad se necesita talento y mentalidad. El Real Madrid es de los mejores equipos del mundo y el mejor de la historia y si se fijaron en él es porque le vieron algo más. Ojalá termine de consolidarse bien en la elite ya sea de su país o internacional pero le veo potencial y no estoy de acuerdo en que está "sobrevalorado". Lo de la cláusula de 50m yo creo que es más para alejar a los clubes europeos y teniendo en cuenta que nunca se pagan tales cantidades hacia clubes argentinos pero no lo veo tan fuera de lugar para lo que es 👏.
Esta sobrevalorado porque simplemente no se ve un jugador talentoso con el balón como para el Madrid. Hay jugadores a esa edad que juegan en equipos de élite de Europa, que hacen maravillas, como Lamine Yamal por ejemplo. Este chico Mastantuono será bueno, sin duda, pero no tiene el talento para el Real Madrid. No se le ve nada espectacular como a esa edad mostraba Neymar por ejemplo.
Es fácil decir eso cuando Yamal salió de la Masia, si este muchacho Mastantuono fuera europeo este debate ni existiría. Es fácil compararlos en esas condiciones, o me vas a decir que tienen la misma prensa los jugadores de la Masia y de la cantera de River? Para nada, uno es de los clubes mas populares del mundo y otro solo en sudamérica. Yo nunca dije que tiene nivel para ser jugador del Madrid, por lo menos ahora, solo dije que no se fijaron en él en vano, le ven proyección, y quizás sea una inversión a largo plazo, y listo. Al final son opiniones, yo opino que tiene calidad de sobra PARA SU EDAD, solo le falta pulirse más porque es demasiado jóven.

No le vi absolutamente ningún skill. Hay jugadores talentosos actualmente en el mundo, que a esa edad hacen maravillas con el balón y ya están acentados en clubes importantes. Este Mastantuono es limitado técnicamente para jugar en un club como el Madrid, y para colmo es bastante lento. Siempre los argentinos vendiendo humo sobre sus jugadores, y en los últimos 20 años solo tuvieron 2 cracks de talla mundial: Messi y Di María. Pero hoy ya están casi retirados, y no veo jugadores que los reemplacen.
