Did you know, if you equip both the Luigi badge and the Wario badge, Mario clothes will change colours to look like Waluigi.

Combining those badges with the gold emblem changes the shade of gold
Fun fact about the golden skin: there are actually 4 slight variations of them. One for each of the base skins (base Mario, L badge, W badge, W+L badge). It's difficult to notice because the gold skin is so bright, but sure enough, it's colors will slightly change depending on the equipped emblems

This badge is so unfortunate because it looks so good but you are basically done with the game when you get it
Yeah and theres not anything left to do. Having to tattle every enemy requires every battle to have been done, including post game bosses. Honestly it shouldve been the reward for completing the main story.
@@ConservativeCalifornian1032 well there is still potential that you have to beat prince mush as you dont get a game over if you lose. So you could have his tattle and then die and then you still have a battle open while having every tattle
It'd be nice if earning the gold badge meant you get to use it from the beginning on your next playthrough

Honestly pretty disappointed they didn't add a boss rematch feature in this game. Could've easily added some sort of gimmick in the glitzpit where u can rechallenege ur previous foes

I remember doing the cooking grind in super paper Mario and cooking all different things. Keep in mind I was like 9 or 10 and didn't have internet... Imagine all recipes found thro so much experimentation. Good times. Anyone remember that game?
I think stuff like this is cool like a way to show you’ve done everything but by that time your just so done with the game it feels bitter sweet. It’s a cool cosmetic but you most likely won’t see it that much since you’re just done now.
The cooking part DOES sound easy! But getting the golden skin... Wouldn't that mean effectively becoming a Shiiny, and in accordance with Shiny Law, would I not then be obligated to donate myself to the nearest Dragon's Hoard...?😳😅

The Waluigi one is really cool. I remember having the Wario badge equipped, when I obtained the Luiu badge.
After equipping both at the same time I was surprised when I saw Mario dressed as Waluigi.

I swear man, this game is just 1 update away from being a perfected remake of a game. It had a gorgeous, visual face-lift and it stayed true to the original all the while adding in much needed quality of life improvements and extra things to do. That 1 update though that this game NEEDS to be perfect is putting bosses in exhibition matches to rematch them.

Yes. By completing multiple quizzes then the 15 question quiz, you get the money money badge

Is there a way to find every single recipe in the game without just guessing and experimenting? I know some recipes are told to you by Wonky, people in troubles, and the RDM Issues, but is there a true vanilla way of finding all the recipes without BSing it? Or is it just expected you look it all up now?

Danger mario build. I explain how it works in my "MAXIMUM DAMAGE" short. With enough grinding, you can easily do 99 damage a jump

Fun fact: Each color version of Mario have is own golden version. Check the difference between Golden Wario skin and Golden Waluigi skin.

I really enjoy this feature. I just replayed paper Mario 64 and they unfortunately have no reward for tattling all the enemies nor do they even have a tattle log. This incentives tattling
So you don't need the gold whacka bump and Mush's belt to get it?
According to the wiki, no, but I can't speak from my own experience since I got the bump and belt first

It could've required defeating the secret boss to unlock...the one that you actually need to succeed at several Superguards to even be able to defeat.

There's no waluigi badge. You get the waluigi skin by wearing the Wario and Luigi badges at the same time
Do you have to beat pape mario 30 times and get Progressively more gold
The golden skin is cool and all but honestly its not that rewarding, for some reason 100 percenting paper mario games never give good rewards, super is a big example of this, for example the reward for getting all the catch cards which is a long task just grants you unlimited 3d time that's it. 100 percent rewards should carry over to new playthroughs since they either give you a cosmetic or alter a function that you don't need anymore on a 100 percent save.
If I get a badge and sell it does it still count for the badge trophy?

I believe the gold mario badge/skin is exclusive to the remake. So it wasn't in the original

Is waluigi skin exsit?
Yes. Apply both the Wario and Luigi badges at the same time (both are 0 BP to wear) and you'll have Waluigi colours.
Can I use it in a new save file?
I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty sure it's exclusive to the save file you unlock it in
