I never liked Pengo very much. I know all of the tips Charlie and Daryl were giving you, but the game frustrates me. I had a couple friends back in the day that had this on the ColecoVision and I had to restrain myself from slamming their controllers against the floor or the wall every time I played it. I have the same reaction to Elevator Action. For some reason those two games just get at me deep down.
I’ve never played the arcade version of Pengo, or any other version really, until this version. Darryl said that he didn’t like the arcade version either, and that he had mad some minor changes to the game to make it more playable. Apparently, I’m just not good at demonstrating those changes, lol. I also believe that different players like different types of games. Personnaly, I like Elevator Action. But different strokes for different folks!
