Hi Melissa I’m 31 y/o and I got strabismus surgery 26 hours ago. My left eye was an outward squint whilst my right eye was my main focus eye. Ofc I am seeing double now. When is it safe to do exercises to help stop double vision? When will it go away?

Usually, exercises shouldn't be started for 4-8 weeks depending on the healing process and they must be very gentle at first. Work with peripheral vision is great to start right away and it can help with the double vision. My mastering peripheral course can help. learn.strabismussolutions.com/mastering-peripheral-vision

    Hey i have some questions
1)is there a time limit in which you have to get the surgery done? As vt only works if the defect is detected early. So is this the case with surgery too? As i have had a lazy eye from the past 4 years now and I'm currently 17. So if i get surgery will it be fully effective or am i late?
    2) do i need to be above 18 to get the surgery done?
3)As you told me you just got it done so did it hurt? Because this would be the first surgery i would be getting so I'm scared. So tell me please
