A fair evaluation. In 2016-2017 you could tell once she had lightened her coordination she became much freer on the notes. I like how in 2023 she was not used to sustaining notes this high in the first two performances but became comfortable in the third. The 2024 could be her personal best even taking into consideration her prime performances. Actually, it's my personal favourite.
@@MariosPOSI'd say end of 2016 because the first half of 2016 still sounded more or less the same as 2015. But considerable change didn't happen until she finished KOMS I agree
I am first as always😂😂😂 She may be tight here and there sometimes ok sometimes not but she is so consistent with the climax note F5 & G#5...never skip😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
The most astonishing part is that despite all the vocal acrobats and vocal-taxing arrangements for decades, there is still no sign of vocal nodules or polyp, no harsh or rough vocals. It shows healthy techniques and disciplined lifestyles.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I actually don't get it when someone said, 'I am a singer' edited all their videos to sound perfect when it's the opposite. Also, imo she's currently in another 'peak' and is still progressing. It's quite delightful to witness it.
2:52 what does very edgy mean? I don't know why but I find this one to be pretty emotionally intense. Its one of my top favorites for that reason Whenever I listen to it I feel it
according to CVT, there are 4 modes in singing: overdrive, curbing, neutral and edge. Documents are available on google. Edge mode is a full metallic mode when the vowel is changed to twang vowels like /aa/ /ee/... The note is maximum twang, very bright/witchy
@@dbramper3942 tight is a term used for tight throat or closed throat, which never happens to her. In this case, we should use "thinning sound" and "twangy sound".
2015, 2016, 2017 and 2024 the best
2024 is the best. period.
2015 DMC festival, it was the height of perfection

I think her approach lightened in the 2nd half of 2017 after KOMS, not 2016

2:17: i like f5 in this show
3:56 love this G#
3:35 G#5 >>>> F5
2:16 WOW
A lot of these are incorrectly labeled as narrow or constricted when they're just heavier than her newer headier approach
Ohhh recent one sounds so goodd
3:24 nice
0:04 not that tight
0:32 not really narrow, that's actually amazing
1:18 not that tight
1:58 that's not too bad
all of them are decent, just tight/narrow compared to a standard good note
0:23 so good
I really like this video of yours ❤❤❤❤❤
3:21 one of my favorites
2:07 oh WOW
3:18 slightly flat
3:13 so good
good video
thank you
3:07 i think you should have used the unedited fancam although it’s not that good

2:45 Jesus 😭
2:53 this is beautiful, and I don't think it's narrow
Yeah I loved this one lol
narrow term means twang is overused, which resulted in shrill, witchy and whiny sounds. Not bad but truly good notes required somewhat roundness
@@ilovehighnote Twang overusage is mostly subjective and the sound wasn't shrill or witchy.
@@MariosPOS very witchy to me
@@MariosPOS just compared it to others after 2017, u can clearly hear the difference between a witchy/shrill sound and a round/warmth one
😂😂 the laggy vibrato ,always sound funny when that happens to singers
Love these, all of them❤

Twangy
Twang is a good option for a highnote especially F5 and above, to prevent from straining and also good for vocal longevity

What mode would you say shes using on the G#5 on 2017?
@@eduardojaredmedinasandoval3520 neutral
She rarely have great (blue color) G#5?
bcz it's too hard to reach great qualities on that pitch, I'd say there are not many singers could do that
@@ilovehighnoteshe have many great Bb5 in Arirang Alone but her G#5 rarely hit great quality.
Its sohyang holy power😂
@@GuinevereYT Which doesn't even matter or relate since the note's quality and projection are insane
I feel that f5 isnt her good note naturaly if we compare it to her g#5
Her notes weren't tight and narrow back then. It just carried more twang with thin vocal cords
That is the reason why it is labeled as narrow/tight. if she uses/overuses twang, it will become tighter.
