hello, sir. I have a 2005 model but my fan would only work if ac is on but in cycles. Fan is always off than ac kicks in than the fan turns on. Is the module bad as well ,meaning needs a new fan? I replaced the compressor, condenser and coolant temp sensor but still same. Thank you
Unfortunately I replaced the fan with a brand new one and still cycling. I noticed that there is a small one wire connector that I left unplugged and it was still cycling not sure what that connector supposed to do...am starting to think it's just the compressor..?
@@flakov check that might be ur ect sensor if u left unplugged and ue ect design is normally close then ur fan will kick on or come worst ur ecm driver or control is bad
@@flakov did you ever figure out what the white wire coming from the fan, is? i noticed it has a built in relay that cant be changed and am wondering if thats the problem
turn on ur ac if fan dont turn on theres a big chance ur rad fan is bad .For this mazda its a little bit diff cuz its ecm control and it goes to a module connected on the fan u need a bi directinal obd2 scanner to control it if its working or not

My radiator fan doesn't work unless ac is on so i have to run the ac at all times so that the car doesn't overheat, what could be the cause and how do i fix it
So to mine the fan is running when you put on the ac but when I put it off ac and run my for one two hours the fan is not working what can be the problem
Boss, there's only 1 signal wire going to fan module (for both a/c & engine coolant using pwm signal) so what is possible cause if the fan motor is running at a/c "ON" but not at high engine Temperature? assumed water/coolant temperature sensor is working properly . thanks
@Bro. Mike power distribution for pwm module of the radiator fan then use oscilloscope to see wheres and when the glitch appear and disappear but if you dont have those tools just go to the junkyard buy a use rad fan with pwm module then install monitor it when ur rad fan turn off while ur ac is on
i assume that the module is bad since u said it doesnt work on high while the ac is on but its really important if you had an scope connected on the signal wire to determine when the signal turn on or might be its not really turning on..and wiring diagram is important too for backprobing it might be just a corroded connection who knows ..I cant tell you whats really going on on ur car cuz i dont even know what car model history of the car and diagnosing car electronic consume a lot of time plus ur tools

unfurtunately u gonna buy the whole rad fan assembly ..the module comes with the rad fan for this mazda 3

What could it be when you take out the socket memory switch the fan running and when you put it, it goes off, either the engine is hot

At around 90deg Celsius temp ur rad fan should kick on ..so start checking ur coolang and engine coolant temp
So to mine the fan is running when you put on the ac but when I put it off ac and run my for one two hours the fan is not working what can be the problem
it needs deep diagnosis it might be faulty ect or low coolant or stuck thermostat
