2024 has been overwhelming, scary and heartbreaking so far. Unemployed, IRS found tens of thousands of back taxes owned, I lost my beloved nine year old Maine Coon Thorin last week ($8,000+ vet bill) and my heart is utterly shattered, stepmom (whom I was very close to) suddenly decided that I shouldn't be in her life anymore and told me never to contact her again because I'd been struggling with depression (she wanted 100% positivity 24/7). Significant health issues getting worse despite working hard to make it better. Muse is still AWOL. I'm so lonely that I find it hard to face each day. Don't know how much more I can take. 💔
Oh my gosh not the same but similar!! Big hugs to you I had to make tax arrangement but they twice calculations was wrong & I had to pay over $15,000 to be in contract for my payments or just have levies on my account! aaaand sickness & bad weather first 3 months of year so by business wasn’t doing great so I’m behind on everything on the verge of being kicked out of my home & loosing my business but I’m pushing thru & trying to make agreements so both issues will work with me going into summer we’re tourist town I have faith I can’t catch up so I have so much to catch up on with money!! But PLEASE try to look at the upside if possible negative energy & thoughts just brings more negativity I can relate to what you said soooo much & I feel like for im trying to keep my mind on solutions & believing things are going to work out they actually slightly have been better not great but better again big hugs to you I’m so sorry for your loss as well! Sending you strength & love that things start getting better & better for you

Same. Significant health issues, my beloved Maine Coon Thorin, age nine, died from a horrific sudden disease last Saturday and the grief is ripping me apart. Dear friends and family have chosen to leave my life, unemployed, IRS is coming after me for more than my yearly salary. Awful cognitive issues and insomnia. I can't take much more.

I’m waiting on an inheritance now from the sale of a family home right now too. I don’t know how much I’ll get, but anything is a blessing. This all came out of nowhere too. Brought back a lot of memories I wish had stayed buried, but I’m just glad that on the final page of this story I get to close out this life cycle on a somewhat positive note.
