The first four songs came out when he was 20-22. If you look up his music videos you will see how young he was. The one song where he is doing what you called girly dance he had giant gloves on his hands and he was adorable.

One of the greatest! 🙌🏻 Rain is a huge phenomenon in Asia! SM had BoA, YG had Se7en and JYP had Rain. Park Jinyoung (JYP) really did a fantastic job in making Rain such an incredible artist and produced so many great hit songs for him ❤
Rain left JYP Entertainment in 2007, he has his own label and he made the iconic boy group MBLAQ as well as Ciipher. He remains good friends with Park Jinyoung and as you can see they collabed on the song Switch to Me in 2021 (the MV also features PSY who’s also a good friend of them).
Rain actually debuted in a group called Fanclub when he was a teenager but they weren’t successful. He was a backup dancer for Park Jinyoung before his big solo debut in 2002 as well. Rain is also very successful as an actor, he actually played the main character in Ninja Assassin (fun fact: Lee Joon, a member of MBLAQ and now very successful actor himself, played a younger version of him in the movie).
After PIECES by RAIN (the album that Why Don’t We feat. Chungha is on) he took part in the Taste of Korea song Summer Taste with Monsta X, Brave Girls and Ateez. He also released Domestic which was a mission song for Street Man Fighter last year.
If you want to see more of his incredible mind and work I suggest watching his episode of the Netflix show Take 1! You will realize why he became so popular, he always worked incredibly hard to get where he is.
Oh and he is married to one of South Korea‘s most beloved actresses Kim Tae Hee, they have two daughters :)
