- When your VW immobilizer is malfunctioning or your transplanting a VW engine and computer system you may need to send us your Vw engine computer for immo delete.
This will allow your Vw engine computer to run the engine without input from instrument cluster or immobilizer system.

We are not doing any immo deletes on 2.0L non turbo engines in pre 2006 Vw's. 2.0L tsi and fsi email for more info.
We can do this on 1.8t's and Tdi's

yeah I feel you on not wanting to give your secrets and I did the same for years now but then I realized the people that watch these videos are not interested in being a customer anyways and if they did it be so screwed up, you not gonna wont to mess with it but if you did, then the bill would be so high they probably won't be able to pay it.
I get more questions of "how can I use your knowledge for me to do this myself or to compete with your business" than I do, "can you do this service for me". But thats ok. Watch my most recent videos on how fixing the problem might be better than immo delete.
It’s true. I personally want to learn to do it myself.
If the price is reasonable I would be happy to though.
If I could mail my ecu plus $100 and you could spend 20 minutes to turn off immobilizer and install a fuel saving tune, I would start sending ECUs.

Great Vid but an indictment on VW for having such a closed key/immob system forcing owner into such measures, particularly when they refuse to offer repairs on older vehicles - i will never buy a new (or post 2000) VW product ever again............
every make has immo systems. They are designed to be "difficult" so that thieves cant easily steal them.

I have problem for a long time now, since thieves tried to seal my car. They flashed the car from the old and the Immo does not work. Thankfully due to some other mechanical problems the car didn’t start. I am tried to put my car back to normal. Stock tune again but it when you flash the car it does not take the file. Please help

I have to put the ecu in the freezer for communication with ecu, if not I get 1314 code, fans come on, no mil at startup .. crank no start…
Long story short if I were to source an ecu .. edc 17cp14 …could you immo delete it for a fee of course, the car is a great unit just intermittent crank no starts and do not enjoy having to freeze it everytime I need to start it

Need to confirm, your prices, a few concerns I have… you would have to put the ecu in the freezer in order to access it via vcds etc etc , your location , I don’t know how this works … do you take my old oem tune from

hi quick question! on my 2010 vw cc 2.0 tfsi i cannot start the engine when is very hot outside. I see immobilizer active on dashboard. no start. in the morning or evening everything works fine. do you think deleting immo will works?
I have never done immo delete on on that new and I don't even know if its possible. Might be best to try to get it fixed.

I've never dealt with this issue before but I have read that the problem is caused by bad solder joints on the EEPROM inside the ECU. When it's hot things expand and it loses connection but when cold it shrinks back up enough to make contact.

Will this work on the early 2000s SIEMENS units ? i've got a 2001 polo gti which im having problems with. VCDS comes back with engine start blocked by immobalizer .
I assume since you said, "polo"that its a european car. I have no way of knowing anything. European cars are different than what we get here.

Nice work, I did an engine swap 1999 vw 1.8 turbo AEB in to a Porsche Boxster and I’m done to one last code p0455 evap large leak, is there a way to program it out or put this code in the background to sleep so it won’t trigger the check engine light to come on? Thank you
Yes, I could do it if your ECU was later (reflashable) but I think yours isn't so you'll have to find a tuner that will work with that early ECU.

I got a golf v imo4 from 2004 and a bought a highline cluster imo4c from 2008 and I got the transponder chip from that car, I still need to married the ecu to the new cluster? Or imo delete the ecu? Does this work?
I have a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg. The immobilizer has failed on it, and the cluster, which houses the immobilizer is discontinued. Can you do this to an 07, to where I can start my car again without the immobilizer?
I would need to know the engine size, but you would probably be better off looking for a used cluster and someone who can program it. Even if immo delete made the car run wouldn't you want to have instrument cluster working?

You have to pull the cluster and disable the light mechanically. We take a tool similar to a dremel and grind into it.

I have a mk5 vw .. If I get a used mk5 Ecu without immobilized defeated, can it be done through vcds when hooked up to car? Also write new vin to my vehicle if I swap in the used ecu?

So i got my immobilizer deleted and the car starts and runs like normal but it’s still showing the key on the dash and on my screen it still saying immobilizer active and i can’t remove that from my screen. Any tips? It’s a 06 Jetta tdi

Cleaned up all the vacuum leaks, but have 2 codes remaining:
Evap leak
And
P2122 low voltage on 2nd throttle pedal circuit.
Tried swapping out pedal, no change, so I suspect computer.
If I got a different computer, does the immo delete work to circumvent reprogramming?

My 2005 vw jetta 2.5 fuel pump quit and starter not turning over.
I can jump the starter and it works.
The immobilizer test good says it's reading the key, which the light is not flashing.
Someone said the part in the ignition that reads the key, could this be it?
that part does not fail very often. I've never seen one fail.

counter means instrument cluster? You have to program the instrument cluster to be compatible with your immobilizer and engine computer. need factory equipment to do so.

I don't know the laws regarding stuff like that where you are. Some states the car wont pass inspection with a check engine light. It will not leave you with a check engine light but with some cars the immo light will have to be physically disabled.

Hi before in 2006 i change in my vw golf mk4 2003 1.6 bcb engine to auq audi 1,.8t. engine with the ecu and other parts .the ecu immo unlocked ,i had 2 keys from the old engine and works fine .i lost the one and left the other,i bought new one key cut ready for proggraming from the dealership vw i buy the car but refused to do it cause he said if we did the ecu locked up and the car never started cause i was change the engine and ecu.so after 18 years i decided to dick up more infos for that maybe fix the problem.the key works the car move but the immo indicator flashes what can i do ?With vag com solved the problem or not.what i need electrician car or programmer car?

I dont think that car is equpped with immo... are you having a alarm problem? What year is your cabrio?

OBD port also has no power which seemed weird to me. I don't think the immo will cut power to OBD, will it?

@@VWPassat_3BG with that logic, removing the immo from the engine computer software isn't a way to solve a problem. The light is irrelevant after immo delete in the engine computer software. People do immo delete because fixing the immo system might be expensive or difficult. . They certainly dont want or need an expensive fix for a irrelevant flashing immo light. Sure it ,might feel better (if someone has OCD) to fix the immo problem but so much cheaper to just delete. Sure it might feel to do something better than physically disabling the light , but it is so much cheaper to just disable it. When you find a "better" option and it carries a zero price tag like disabling it, then you let me know and I'll recommend that to folks here.

Cant do immo delete with vagcom. Vagcom is used in this video as a secondary confirmation that ecu is communicating. This video is not a how to. It is showing services I offer. Sorry if it doesn't give you the info you need.
How did you get the vag com cable to work with the program? Or did you buy a cable dedicated to it?

What reasons would someone need to do an immobilizer delete and will the car still operate as usual?
because immo has been acting up and repairs cost more than delete. Or maybe they want to use a vw diesel engine in a jeep or toyota or maybe they are pu8tting a diesel engine in a gasser car. STuff like that. There are lots of reasons. Sometimes its not the best decision though. Immo delete doesn't cause any problems other than maybe the immo light flashing, but if the "true" problem isn't fixed there could be lots of problems continuing after the delete.

@@anapaulapereira3255 Whether the radio is ok or not is irrelevant. The radio can work fine yet, if it is plugged in, it can bring down the network that the scan tool communicates on. Also just the aftermarket radio harness being plugged into the car, but the radio removed can do the same thing. Are you able to communicate with other computers such as the ABS, airbag, transmission computer ect?

Curious do you need to setup a test bench to do the delete or you can use the car as a test bench and do it in there instead.
I broke my rfid chip in my key and it looks like I either immo delete my ecu or pay $500 for new key/programs key.
a well equipped Vw shop. (mine) could put a new chip in your key and program it for cheap. Call some VW shops. Worst case scenario you could order a chip and install it yourself, then have a locksmith or well equipped vw shop program it.
