Wisdom From The Ancestors: John B Meachum's Warning To Black Men, 1846

Black Americans have been trying to figure out freedom since emancipation. What's the best agenda to strengthen our families, build generational wealth, protect ourselves from systemic oppression, and keep our households focused on The Lord.
Well, one of our ancestors, John Berry Meachum, tried to warn us back in 1846. Here is an audio version of his mini-book on how to navigate freedom. It's a masterclass for the generation of people coming out of slavery just before the Civil War.
