Thank you, Audrey! I've watched a couple of your videos that are 6 to 7 years old, but the information that you graciously share is timeless.
I discovered your channel yesterday and I have to let you know that, you are (for me at least) an extremely rare and luminous star amidst the dark, unconscious ignorance that I've begun to realize runs rampant throughout the United States and indeed the entire world.
A couple of years ago I began slowly to recognize the fact that I didn’t and don’t know anything. A lot of, if not most of what I thought I knew and was taught is wrong. How I was taught to learn is wrong. I’ve always been curious about learning… and I so want to understand, I want to know what I don't know and be able to get in on the discussion. Whatever and wherever, I want to understand what can be understood.
I want to learn from the great minds, the great philosopher's, scientist, the great traditions, etc. but I've struggled my entire life, not being able to focus - I was smart but I didn't do well in school because I didn’t pay attention very well... and that wandering mind thing has carried over to today.
Two years ago lifestyle altering events led to major depression from which I've thankfully recovered. Now I work hard every day not to slip back into that state. I'm learning to accept and to be grateful for whatever comes my way. I have to learn to use whatever I'm given (good or bad in my mind) in the most direct, fruitful, compassionate way possible. My personal crisis has led me to a lot of reflection and I'm determined to overcome this 49 year old obstacle of fogginess.
Philosophy, psychology, and spirituality are my life now. Your way of sharing and teaching is exemplary.
I purchased, “How To Read A Book” one week ago and then by chance came across your channel and this video. You inspire me not to give up while teaching me things that I never knew and pointing me in the right direction. I’m beginning to learn how to transform my life into a life of truth, compassion, consistency, purposeful meaning, etc. and I’m going to merge the newfound truths being discovered within myself with your illuminating, inter-disciplinary insights, lessons and truths listening for and feeling whatever speaks to me. Thank you again for sharing much needed wisdom, Audrey.

Thank you for your kind comments. I too felt robbed when I went through school. I found it in my late 20's that Plato actually wrote something and we have it!!! Since then I've gone on to create a program that helps people get a classic education and be able to identify and apply true principles in their lives. It's currently available for women and teens. You can find out more at themissiondrivenmom.com. We hope to add a program for men some time in 2023. All the best.

Abs valuable. I tutor for English fluency, and find I have unwittingly engaged in the meanderings of the five principles you articulate here. Stumbled upon your talk on Ayan Rand, never felt drawn to her, hence the initial impulse was to have at least indicators as to why the fuss. Fortunately this lead to better things, and watching another video. There are so many dimensions we can live in and through. Thanks Audrey, you made my day !
