Your only way out is changing the flex cable and if it doesnt work, the entire screen (my situation).

@@aryanchoudhary3124 probably. In most cases i've seen, that is the only problem and it is pretty cheap. The techs i sent my phone also said the same. Usually with like 80 dollars (in brazil) you will get it done. If you can do it yourself, the cable alone is just 25 dollars or less. But in MY case it didnt work and i had to pay for another screen. I paid in total 260 dollars.

I plugged it in to my tv, it didn't show the phone screen, it just showed a lock symbol and the time. it won't show me the phone screen unless I unlock the phone. is it because I'm using a tv instead of a monitor?

Okay bro, maybe you try using a monitor instead of a tv, also you can use a conversation cable that supports you to plug external mouse, that way you can unlock the phone, then screen will display normal on the tv.
@@whiszantech2425 With otg adapter usb c hdmi on monitor the lock icon and time will be displayed, but i cannot navigate with the external mouse. Dont know why 🙄

Am following these videos like am eating a sugarcane, but now am stuck on this one here ,, i plugged in Mine , worked very well but then remembered the aim fo following all these videos was to unlock my phone that i forgot the password and have my important data ,so i can't delete or format it ,, so i have seen how to install the vysor which i did ,, and then it cant connect cos i havent tunned on usb debugging,, then i bought all those noncess needed to do screen mirroring ,then boom ,,my phone has a password that i don't remember,, please help what do i do

It wasn't working for me but i was able to use this same adapter and plug a mouse to the usb port and was able to control my phone that way.

@@benjaminbastidas5017 yes, although perhaps a bit dissatisfactory in terms of cost. first i had to buy an adapter (novoo, 30 bucks) cause i didn’t have one at home to try the HDMI route, which failed (see my prior reply).
not wanting to pay 130 for “professional” repair i ended up buying an original replacement screen (50-60 bucks) and replaced it myself. there’s plenty tuts on YT.
all in all approx 90 bucks, but still less than giving it to a repair shop.
⚠️DO NOT send it to Samsung repair. they will erase all your data in the repair process (it’s on their website. it’s the dumbest shit i’ve ever read. screen repair ≠ phone data access) which can only be recovered if you already had a cloud backup before the screen broke.

bought an HDMI adapter to try what the video suggests, which failed (see my prior reply in thread).
after trying everything thinkable i ended up ordering an original replacement screen (Samsung Galaxy A50 AMOLED) for 50-60 bucks and replaced the screen myself as the internals were unharmed. for that you have to carefully disassemble the entire phone, replace the screen and reassemble, which isn’t too hard and there’s many tuts here on CZcams. if i was able to do it without causing a house fire then you will be able to do it with ease.
“professional” repair would’ve cost about 130 bucks. if you’re contemplating on sending it to a repair shop, please ask for details on their processes as for example Samsung writes on their repair service site that they’re gonna erase all your data during repair (which is the most ret*rued thing i’ve ever read since screen replacement doesn’t require data access but that’s a whole different rant). if you got more questions i’d be happy to help

That because you need to unlock the phone bro
what model is it? in regards to the contents, when you plug your phone to a pc/laptop, your phone most likely will have to confirm the transfer of data (which you need it’s screen for) before the contents can show up on your laptop.
in regards to the display not showing, depending what model you got it might not support HDMI/USB tethering as that feature was added in newer generations.

HI I have the same problem because I forgot my samsung a53 5g equipment pin and the phone is blocked. Each time I try a wrong pin I have to wait 24 hours. I have hundreds and hundreds of important photos that I can´t erase. How can I acess the data in my phone ? The phone is not recognized in my PC and in the google account because GPS is off. I tried this it doesn’t work because I need to confirm the connection and with a black screen that’s not possible. And connecting a mouse with a converter is also impossible because I still can’t see the screen on the phone or the monitor it’s connected to.

hi..my screen can't detect any touch and I can't unlock the phone (using passcode) even after connected to the monitor.
I explained everything in the video, if your screen can't detect your touch because it's broken, then use the Coverter that supports USB port where you can plug an external mouse that way you can unlock the phone using the mouse and then enable USD debugging

It is for when you can't see the display, but can still click on the screen, or with the other adapter use a keyboard mouse and display, that would work even if your screen was not even connected.
