Thank you for posting the video.
    Very, very helpful.
My thanks to all who post such videos as I have disassembled and upgraded my two other laptops with the help of similar videos.
I just purchased a donated, complete Dell 15-3567 from a local Salvation Army with upgrades in mind for general purpose use.
    FWIW...
Extra work for me, but I am prone to knocking screws out of placed and now use a four-week pill organizer.
I place numbered stickers next to each of the screw locations and place that screw in a similarly marked pill compartment.

recently upgraded my laptop same model, dell 3567 ,1TB HDD replaced with 1TB ssd Samsung evo 870 after using Samsung's free cloning software 'Samsung data migration'....worked very well...no problem with secure boot on...Even AV was on but kept it in flight mode/disconnect internet...also upgraded the RAM 4GB 2400MHz 1.7 v with another 4 GB RAM 2400MHz...upto 8 GB ...spec shows that this model can accept upto 32 GB RAM but for my basic use it would be an over-kill..prying out the palm rest from the base was quite tough the 1st time esp near the right hinge....there prying under the metal strip of the DVD slot lip adjacent to the hinge and a bit side to side move/wiggle of the base, easily cleared that sticky right hinge (left one if the laptop is upside down!) while the innards are open ...might as well change the CMOS battery and clean the dust from the fan....

Not even sure what you're getting at, but great tutorial, I haven't even finished taking it apart yet and I've already demolished a number of clips, screw holes, and other plastic bits holding my laptop together, and this is after taking every screw out, every ribbon cable unplugged, and while using a pry tool. Your videos are lifesavers.
    And wallet savers.
    Venmo incoming.
Question, if you have the time:
Putting in/replacing the HDD w/ a SSD in this laptop. Curious at to whether you’d recommend using a $6 optical drive caddy and adding the SSD via the caddy and mini SATA connection, or whether you’d recommend pulling the keyboard, doing a tear down, and physically swapping the HDD for a SSD.
I guess I’m asking if you think there is significant speed loss using the optical drive SATA connection to make it worth the tear down.
I know it’ll be a boatload snappier either way, as compared to the HDD.
But if I’m going to do it, I’d rather do it right and do it once.
Again, many thanks and keep up the great work!!

@@jonathanB55 No I did exactly a upgrade with 2x 16 GB sticks = 32 GB 2400 MHz ram Ripjaw brand. Please note that you must also see the LAT for speed the lower the number the better like a 16 or 19 will work faster but a 22 will work well too. The type of hard drive will determine how fast your computer will pull the information so a NVME will do better than a SSD. Good luck!!

make sure that new memory is for sure supported by your laptop....try to reseat your memory ... a bsod can easily be a problem with memory. When you turn your computer on your hard drive loads everything into your memory and if there's something wrong with your memory it may not work properly. If you are a car mechanic think of your hard drive as your storage shed and your memory as the garage that you work on cars in. The more memory you have the more cars you can work on at the same time kind of like having a bigger garage when they say memory helps speed up your computer it's not the speed of data it's how much stuff you can work on at the same time
