It is amazing just how overpowered a character can become without changing at all. A lot of people seem to think that characters can only get direct nerfs and buffs but they also benefit from the changes around them. It's not easy to explain to people who don't understand the game competitively, but a shift in the maps, POI's, weapons, gear, pacing, systems, mechanics, etc. can have a massive impact on how strong a character is. The way that competitive Apex is played coupled with the loss of digi threat has really boosted Bangalore and likely some other legends will see a radical increase in pick rate to try to stop her.
I tried playing solo today for the first time and I was dying to players with 5,000 + kills, a handful over 10,000. I have 136 total. Shut that shit off and deleted the game.

I've been using Ballistic a bit recently and thought couldn't they give him the digi threat on his sling gun when using the ultimate? That'd be a nice small buff
The problem is that pro play is less than 0.1% of the actual game. Functionally nobody cares about it and functionally nobody *plays* pro play. They should have a separate build specifically for them. Never balance normal or even ranked play the same as pro play. GAs against digi and more should not be carried over into "remove digi from the actual game"
I love duos. I play with my brother and it's the only time we get together, now that we're older. If we play trios, we get a random who, half the time, leaves. Get put into pred lobbies more often even tho I suck. At least in duos it's 2v2 and I don't have to worry about a third
Rich, please do another vid on your full settings set up. I recently got a pc and switched over from console and I just can't seem to get the settings right and would really appreciate some tips.
Key things for when you switch over are probably resolution, FoV and quality settings. There are some efficient FPS guides out there for quality settings but mine are just all on max settings to make my vids look better. Is there a specific part you're struggling with?

Havent played apex in 6 months. But yea linear is the best settings imo it do take awhile to get used too but when you do you’ll be a beast but you’ll need the movement to become a demon ‼️
I actually killed a Bangalore earlier today… I had gold longbow with the digi 4x-10x on it… she kept peeking and then smoked to get to her next cover, not realizing her smoke doesn’t apply to me, securing the win! Which I’m sure was very frustrating for that player to pop smoke and then I hit them 4 times precision as they’re zigzagging through smoke… must have seemed like I had wallhacks or something hahaha
There is just a financial crisis in games at the moment. The challenge as you say is to balance pro, casual and new players but this becomes harder the longer the game goes on. While I don't think making variants of the game to fit the different player groups would be a good idea overall, I could see why this might be a future for them.

I hope they have something in the works to rework the respawn process. Why can't we jump out as the ship flies over like the initial drop instead of calling everyone on the map to your location? This is still one of the sore spots for me in this game.
The biggest probem with Apex Legends is that there are cheaters and that there are no African servers. I don't care about the digit threat scope. Never did. I just want better ping.
Honestly, I've been enjoying the last few seasons. To me, it feels good where it's at. Most people are too concerned with meta and crazy movement but lack basic situational awareness and map knowledge. By no means am I good at the game, just decent, I win a fair bit based solely on being in the right place at the right time and thinking critically about how to be in a more favourable position whenever I get caught.

Just feel like 2x is an inaccurate sight for snipers. Hard to tell exactly where you're shooting. Doesn't matter as much with a spray weapon so feels fine on r3
Do you have dead zone on small? Because when I used to play 4:3 linear. I had to put my dead zone on small or else my aim would be all over the place. I noticed you don’t have that issue
Honestly IDK about Bang being overpowered. I feel she's the Ryu of Apex. new players can pick her up with ease but skilled players can take whole advantage
I tried Linear but if I stand still and do nothing my hit box thing or how you call it it goes left right up am down in to the corners how do I fix it because on classic it's just fine
This is by far the worst season of apex I’ve ever played by a good margin, at least in ranked. I go on streaks of dying immediately like 10 games in a row and it’s because of the most far fetched bullshit imaginable. My average teammate in gold lobbies can do anywhere from 0-50 damage total, meanwhile every opponent is erasing me in half a second with g7 hip fire. Game freezes all the time. Straight up glitches or missed inputs not infrequent. It’s a fucking mess. Edit: and when I do pull off the 1v3 and then save my teammates, they speedrun committing suicide again by taking on full teams from the low ground by themselves or crazy shit like that. I dunno if Respawn/EA has a personal vendetta against me but it sure feels that way
No digi threat, boosted loader or skull piercer. No more attachments for the wingman. Why? They just deflate my enthusiasm more and more every season. At least they altered a map and provided a new legend in the same season again this time. Wonder what they'll strip away with their next update? Good news is... Stellar Blade is a BLAST! 🤓🎮

I love iTemp but I'm actually sick of content creators saying things like "I'm in lobbies against 3 stack Preds but my teammates are new" (which is a fair assessment, it shouldn't happen) but then also being like "hidden MMR sucks and it shouldn't be a thing". Well, you take one or the other, there's no middle ground so stop complaining??
@@iTemp2 Yeah that’s fine. But when hidden MMR was a thing, that didn’t happen - everyone was always playing within their bracket. People complained about this too - “lobbies are too hard”, “takes forever to find a game”. It just seems like content creators (and Apex players in general) aren’t happy with either option when there is no other option. I’m just sick of hearing it. You can’t have it both ways.
@@mojophobia4772 it absolutely did still happen. the game would still give you random teammates who didn't deserve to be in the those lobbies and it put you against 3 stack top 1% players.
@@iTemp2 Then you must have decreased your MMR because the whole point of MMR is so this doesn't happen, unless it wasn't implemented correctly. I never got lobbies that were ridiculously easy for me.

I miss seasons 1 through 5. I was put in lobbies that was my skill based and wasnt getting shit on by masters every lobby.
We can fight masters 1-1 but all three stackers jumps at you at once is so irritating

Yeah I think it would be mich better to have solo ranked. That way the lobbies can be waaay more balanced.
I ran into two predator badge horizons who were intentionally teaming in solos, probably to get the 20 kill badge. I feel your pain.

As long as bang smoke turns off controller aim assist, m&k pros will almost have to include bang to negate the ~10% accuracy difference
