So much to process and I can't even imagine everything what's going through her mind at that moment... I knew a judge whom did family court and he said adoptions were his favorite and they took the least amount of time but he wanted to make them last longer because they were so positive and everyone is happy.

This is so amazing! Chills and tears going on here in Idaho!! We've adopted our 2 youngest daughters (sisters) back in 2011. We recently found one of their biological brothers whose been living in a group home in another state due to a failed adoption. Once you and Aaron welcomed Lucas and Savanah into your home... I immediately told my husband that Hayden (not using his actual name) is the missing piece to our family! Back in September we began the ICPC paperwork, home study, background & fingerprinting process. Although this process is slow... They are allowing him to come visit us for a week! We are on the way to pick him up from the airport!!! The other state said everything should be approved in the next 30 days!! The best part is that he will be spending his 17th birthday with us next week!!! Thank you for being so inspiration 💖

I started tearing up when I read the title! I'm so happy for them! I just can't imagine what this process is like for kids. While I did cry through this whole video, I couldn't help but cry even more at Savannah's reaction. I don't know their story, but I'm sure this is overwhelming. They truly seem to fit together like a huge puzzle. I can't wait to see this process and for it to finally be over for them.
Seriously this is truly amazing. Not only this is truly emotional for not just them but for everyone watching you have changed their life they now know that they are apart of your family forever. I know they always knew they would be but once those adoption papers are signed a big weight will be lifted off there shoulders. What an amazing family I am truly glad they got everyone involved but so sad Hallie couldn't be there of course I understand were she is right now is helping her mental health and that it is better for her. This absolute!y beautiful. I have done the adoption process too. Not in the same way as this where I adopted somebody, but I have given a family a beautiful daughter for them to adopt. It will be 2 years March 4th that I had her and gave her to them on March 6th. That's not her adoption day, but that's when they received her to start the process.

My heart hurts and is excited for them at the same time. I could tell Savannah is really processing, which is how I think the majority of us would be as well, between the feelings of the old and new and the future. I hope she is in therapy to help her really understand the situation. Even though she is 12 and that seems older in todays teenagers she is still just a young girl and I am sure went through some horrific stuff that ended with her in foster care and being disbanded from her biological parents/family. I would love some day to know their background story but if they aren't ready for that for a long time or never ready to share that, that's okay. That is something that will always be theirs and theirs alone to share or not to and I fully respect that. I am so glad they landed in the crazy pieces and they are getting to find the true meaning of love and family and how to handle life when it gets hard from a positive perspective. So excited for you all!

FINALLY!!!!! I am so incredibly happy for Lucas and Savannah! I can only imagine being in their position and hoping and wondering if it's really going to happen and then you get news like that. Definitely made me tear up. Sometimes in life, dreams really do come true.
That date is special. My youngest will be 24. That is the happiest. The sad one is my really close friend pass away last year on 2-18-2020 from cancer. She was in her earlier 30's. I feel like she is watching over her family and me. Congrats Lucas and Savannah.

I agree with you I’m sure she’s feeling a little conflicted she’s losing her biological family and is probably feeling like she is being disloyal to them. it’s all got to be very difficult to deal with for a teenager. I’m sure she loves her new family and she feels guilty. it’s hard for kids if they have to feel guilty when there’s joy. I hope she can keep the good parts of her biological family in her heart and embrace her new life with her forever family who loves her very much
I have the utmost faith that Crystal and Aaron will do everything in their power to keep them connected with their healthy minded bio family members as they learn more if it is in the best interest of their newly adopted children. I'm almost sure that Savannah thought she still had time to sort through her emotions and the date moved so much closer that she felt that weight to deal with it all faster and it overwhelmed her a bit. She will be okay because she has plenty of support in this family to ensure she is heard and respected as well as loved. I feel like warm jello inside for them.

They HAVE been apart of the puzzle since day 1 (I would say) but OC did say "officially" && never even said that they weren't family already🤔 So chill🙃

Bittersweet tears from Savannah it seems. I know my son was with his birth mother for only 4 years and his adoption day was still bettersweet for him. Every mother's day and on his birthday and other times as well he still wants to talk about her because no matter what the circumstances were ( and his were very traumatic) he still loves and misses his birth mother.
I agree with this. When they were first introduced and said they would be adopting them. Someone a biological aunt or something like that was asking about them. I went snooping 🙈 i saw some pictures of Savannah with whom appeared to be her bio mom and she seem to be very close with bio mom.

I think sometimes as an adopted person its not about leaving one family its gaining a family you know are there for you and love you but they also know deep down there birth parents are there blood but sometimes blood is not thicker than water at times

I’m so happy for you all...but it was definitely overwhelming for Savannah...I hope they’re both getting the counseling they’re going to need to process all of this, because as much as it’s a wonderful new beginning for them, it’s also closing the chapter on their pasts, and no matter how bad it may have been, as older children, they remember all of it, and in someway maybe still had hope for they’re biological family. I pray they find all the love and happiness in the world, with their wonderful new forever family...🙏🏻❤️

Savannah is such a beautiful soul you can see how much shes opening up and learning to love. They are still totally reserved i can tell they have so much more to give once they are secured into the family on february 18th. Love you guys and everything you do! 💜😘

My heart hurts and is excited for them at the same time. I could tell Savannah is really processing, which is how I think the majority of us would be as well, between the feelings of the old and new and the future. I hope she is in therapy to help her really understand the situation. Even though she is 12 and that seems older in todays teenagers she is still just a young girl and I am sure went through some horrific stuff that ended with her in foster care and being disbanded from her biological parents/family. I would love some day to know their background story but if they aren't ready for that for a long time or never ready to share that, that's okay. That is something that will always be theirs and theirs alone to share or not to and I fully respect that. I am so glad they landed in the crazy pieces and they are getting to find the true meaning of love and family and how to handle life when it gets hard from a positive perspective. So excited for you all!

A great big huge congratulations to Lucas and Savannah. Now they have a forever family for good signed and sealed. And they look so happy like nothing could stop them. Like all of their worries and fears are completely gone knowing they are truly with their forever mom and dad and family 😂❤️🙌🏻😊 They are truly a perfect fit. FINALLY!!!!! I am so incredibly happy for Lucas and Savannah! I can only imagine being in their position and hoping and wondering if it's really going to happen and then you get news like that. Definitely made me tear up. Sometimes in life, dreams really do come true.
That date is special. My youngest will be 24. That is the happiest. The sad one is my really close friend pass away last year on 2-18-2020 from cancer. She was in her earlier 30's. I feel like she is watching over her family and me. Congrats Lucas and Savannah.
Im sure it's mixed emotions. Trying to also come to the reality that the old is gone..even for abuse situation ..It's got to be hard. Change..good but can be very unsettling and painful.
I agree with you I’m sure she’s feeling a little conflicted she’s losing her biological family and is probably feeling like she is being disloyal to them. it’s all got to be very difficult to deal with for a teenager. I’m sure she loves her new family and she feels guilty. it’s hard for kids if they have to feel guilty when there’s joy. I hope she can keep the good parts of her biological family in her heart and embrace her new life with her forever family who loves her very much
I have the utmost faith that Crystal and Aaron will do everything in their power to keep them connected with their healthy minded bio family members as they learn more if it is in the best interest of their newly adopted children. I'm almost sure that Savannah thought she still had time to sort through her emotions and the date moved so much closer that she felt that weight to deal with it all faster and it overwhelmed her a bit. She will be okay because she has plenty of support in this family to ensure she is heard and respected as well as loved. I feel like warm jello inside for them.

Girl you don’t need documents to indicate who is family. Family is built on love, something that was built the first day of introduction. They’ve been apart of the puzzle
@@baka5831 Boy... I get where you're coming from, && yes that is all true, but actually being adopted is very special && meaningful for kids who have previously been in the system. They HAVE been apart of the puzzle since day 1 (I would say) but OC did say "officially" && never even said that they weren't family already🤔

@@baka5831 I have 4 adopted children, I’m very aware of how it works, as you can tell from the kids reaction and excitement this document is monumental for them and it does mean something.
Bittersweet tears from Savannah it seems. I know my son was with his birth mother for only 4 years and his adoption day was still bettersweet for him. Every mother's day and on his birthday and other times as well he still wants to talk about her because no matter what the circumstances were ( and his were very traumatic) he still loves and misses his birth mother.
I agree with this. When they were first introduced and said they would be adopting them. Someone a biological aunt or something like that was asking about them. I went snooping 🙈 i saw some pictures of Savannah with whom appeared to be her bio mom and she seem to be very close with bio mom.
I am sure this is a better, more secure home for them like my home is for my son, but it's important for everyone to remember it is bittersweet.

Maybe the kids feel a little torn sometimes- like they are happy but feel a little like they are separating from their other family! Idk I just thought that when I was watching Savanna! Great family this is- I wish you all the best, God Bless you all!!! The kids need to know it’s never anything they did! It’s just that sometimes-adults lose their way too in life! And that they aren’t leaving a family- they are gaining one!!
I think sometimes as an adopted person its not about leaving one family its gaining a family you know are there for you and love you but they also know deep down there birth parents are there blood but sometimes blood is not thicker than water at times

I’m so happy for you all...but it was definitely overwhelming for Savannah...I hope they’re both getting the counseling they’re going to need to process all of this, because as much as it’s a wonderful new beginning for them, it’s also closing the chapter on their pasts, and no matter how bad it may have been, as older children, they remember all of it, and in someway maybe still had hope for they’re biological family. I pray they find all the love and happiness in the world, with their wonderful new forever family...🙏🏻❤️
