This is a vintage bag is from 2000-2002 (6 Series), making it nearly 16-18 years old. The 6 series mini bag as I've been told DO have it with a MAGNETIC closure. If you search online you will find several 6-series bag with the similar bag detail albeit in a different colour. I've gone ahead and shared some links to the same bag below:

Her bag is authentic, most people don't know the changes Chanel makes on bags and items. Also, Japan is very strict on selling authentic items.

Well.. um i didn't meant to let you down but i was working for Chanel, and please allow me to break it down for you,
1. magnetic closure yes, certain design comes with that, but there will no turn lock lil stick stuck in Chanel logo on the closure, it will be just the CC logo to indicate within is an buttons or magnetic closure
2. The diamond quilted stiching is not allign between closure and the body of the bag, all the original one are having the precise alligment on that
3. The flap lenght is shorter than the body of the bag lenght, it should be on precisely having tge same lenght
5. Size and color wise is yes that is the common size and color on Chanel handbags
4. Since you have no authentic cards it's actually fine, many reseller or pre owned doesnt have that but still can indentify as an original product, simply call chanel boutiqe and mention i think it's seven digit of serial numbers in the sticker on the left bottom inside of the bag (the number has to be the same with authentic card , and first two number will identify the year / seasons of production) allow them to check and we can verify the colors, shape , size, years, and any detail of the bag
For me $1.000 it's a lot of money tho, i think i will save my money 6 times more, or just go with the luxury brand that having such price range

When you consume luxury on a regular you tend to realize if an item is fake. Her item is real! It's the same ideology, if you buy clothes off the rack you might not have the eye of a person who gets their clothes tailored. What looks good to you off the rack will look cheap to them. Chanel has used magnetic clasp before, and they have used snap buttons too. Not all Chanel flaps are turn locks. Luxury is a lifestyle, and if you are not use to luxury then it is best for you to go to the store. Hermes Queen and Howshespendsit both buy their birkins on the second hand market, and in some cases pay more. I buy luxury more on the prelove market because I know this is were the best items are; not the items in the store.

I'm sorry I really don't want to be the negative one here and I love your videos, but the size of the dust bag seems off and the closure would be a huge red flag for me. I think it's a replica especially since I'm thinking about buying my first Chanel bag and have been watching tonnes of authenticity videos. I have the same bag and had it authenticated in person. This is from 2000-2001, Chanel must've made the mini in this colour and polished silver-tone magnetic closure for that particular season. You'll see this bag sometimes resurface in resale sites.
Andrea A I personally never saw a magnetic cc turn lock closure. If you said it was a seasonal piece from 2000 or 2001 I really don’t know Chanel had a vintage bag like it.

Hi Norah! Thanks for commenting. I have seen this bag before, and so that's why I was comfortable purchasing it to begin it. I have to admit though the magnetic closure caught me by surprise I guess that's because in the pictures It seemed to be a proper turn lock closure.
But after looking at more pictures of this bag, I can see that this has been made in the past. I have had it authenticated by etinceler whom I trust, but have emailed them again to double check the pictures and info.

I still love my LV reverse monogram HIDUPZ clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
Hmmm...beautiful bag but I'm concerned for you about the authenticity. I wonder if the authenticators noticed it had a magnetic closure, because they typically authenticate just from pics. I would contact them and ask them about the magnetic closure and shorter chain.

No matter the appearance or the metal parts of the *topluxs* I believe that as long as you are not a practitioner, you will never see any difference.
If you go to eBay and buy vintage luxury bags from a Japan reseller, you are supposed to see a license number issued by their police or government showing this is an authentic second hand luxury reseller. Some of them are doing offline business so note here you’re competing with offline customers too because usually they just have one quantity for the specific item listed on eBay.

It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought 2 *rrcopys* bags in the past 3 years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
I have seen some vintage flap bags were made like that in mini size, but not in classic medium onwards. It hard to say wether this bag is authentic or not without seeing the stamp, authenticity card and hologram. Only one way to know and for sure is that you send your bag for repairing at one of the Chanel boutiques, if they accept it then it is a real deal!

I bought this bag at *rrcopys* , I've had it for a few months and love it! I couldn't decide whether to switch from a purse to a backpack, but I'm so glad I did! This bag is super cute and the brown is a great shade. The fabric is soft and very supportive! I love that the main pocket rests against your back when you're wearing it. I travel all the time and I feel safe with my wallet in my bag. I highly recommend their bags!

I love this size bag on you. I'm a bit petite too, and prefer smaller bags. I think they suit better in terms of proportion. It's much more youthful and modern than large bags.

of course! Always, always! As I've said in the video, I've seen Sabina sell the exact same bag a few months ago, albeit in much more worn condition. I've just contacted her clarifying the details of this bag, but after doing more research there are definitely bags from this series with the magnetic closure.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulu* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅
I Don't know how you can buy so much preloved and be confident it's real, I would not want that doubt I would rather save up and buy it new in store or website. I rather have peace of mind than wonder if it's real, 1000 is too little only someone who has a fake would be willing to sell it for that amount. So yeah save more and buy new you don't want to spend all this money for a closet full of fakes.

I now have more than 8 chanel bags, and I think once you've own a chanel bag it's pretty obvious what is fake and what is real. Touching the leather, looking at the stitching, there are pretty significant differences which do become obvious with time. I think if you've never had a chanel bag before it's hard to compare, but there's a reason there are such a differences in prices.
Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference with pictures, but once you can physically inspect the bag it's a lot more obvious.
In terms of the bag itself - actually there are many times when the chanel bag can go for a pretty good price. This bag isn't perfect by any means - there are several wear and tear marks, and obviously no authenticity card which all cause the price to go down. Several vintage bags also go for a decent price which can be as low as $1000USD! ;)

HaileyLove11 Even if you buy from a Chanel store. You could be buying an exchanged or returned bag in resellable condition. However if the bag return is a 'superfake', you could end up with that, if the sales assistant don't thoroughly check. Nor do most sales assistant will be able to tell. I can probably justify that because if some people buy pre-owned Chanel don't won't authenticate it in stores because they don't know how to!
They have a very strict return policy.
I know this is a mini but is it the same size as the mini rec flap? I see there are 5 full quilts on the front so maybe smaller? (Since the mini rec has 6 full quilts, right?)

I think it's a vintage bag. The replicated bags are the common/high demand type bags and are copied as close to the authentics as possible; that's the name of the game.

The colour of the bag, the closure, and without authentication card, I would not pay 1000 for it, is there a number label in the bag ? Usually it should match the card, but if you have the number, you can check online for approx year it was made.

I have already had it authenticated by two individual REPUTABLE authentications and people STILL think it’s fake just because it strays from the typical classic flap. If you really need to know, you can contact the headquarters and ask for the authenticity number, their design template whether it matches, if they sub-contract the production to other cheaper factories, and whatever it takes to prove it is the real product. It is business.

Miranda Wick I use Etinceler for all my Chanel bags. But they don’t authenticate >15milion series. I use real authentications for that. If it’s Louis Vuitton can use meme’s treasures or carol diva. Sabina Lynn is also great at authentications! :) xx

jayzzee1888 it could be because of the size of the bag. I bought my boy woc from last year's fall collection and it is a magnetic closer with the double "cc" on the hardware.
