Dissonance in Dialogue | Columbus' Expedition and Indigenous Voices | Story of Diverse Interactions.

Columbus has been a historical figure in the History of the West. He is credited with discovering the continents we today call the Americas. To find a westward maritime route to the “Indies”, Columbus, with the blessing of the King of Spain and Castille Ferdinand II and his Queen Isabella, undertook four voyages between 1492 and 1504. Focusing on the first and second of his voyages, we can note the diverse range of experiences felt by Columbus and his companions, especially Hernando Colon and Bartolomeu de Las Casas, on one hand and the natives on the other.
