- It's been almost exactly a year in the making, but arrives right on time - some 39 years after the original single release. When Queen decided to do a Christmas single, it was up to Brian and Roger to write it. The band never played it live, but as you may know - that's not a problem on this channel! Make sure you stick till the very end, you're in for a real Christmas treat!
Created using original studio tracks, isolated takes and live recordings, carefully adjusted and mixed for the best possible quality.

Dude, you should try to make a live orchestra with the song of Las palabras de amor (The Words of Love).
Been listening to this a few times, and I must say I'm genuinely delighted by this cover. Probably one of your better ones, and the fact that about a year of work was put into it shows in the quality of the final product. A nice mixture of the studio and live content we have access to, from the guitar and bass from the single release, to the live drums taken from Live At The Bowl (STL as some people already said). And if that wasn't enough, the addition of a few of Marc Martel's piano work and vocals - which after being ran through your voice thickening filters almost gives him a 70s Freddie-like tone, the guitar work from Queen Covers Official, and the bits and pieces of the Tavaszi Szel speech segment from Budapest are also there to really make it a genuinely great live remix.
Great job on this, and may 2024 bless us with more mind-blowing covers like this one. Maybe the improvements on AI cloning will get to use, who knows?

Of course, Robbie Williams' WATC version isn't as good as FM's. But the instrumental part is, in my opinion, much better, starting with BM's excellent guitar solo, absent in the original version.

I think I won't manage to get that done this year still. Most likely there's going to be some more individual live remixes before a full blown release.

Hi Arquest. Been a little while since this remix's been released hasn't it? I just wanted to let you know that Music Track Center in collaboration with Ryuseiken has been working on making a Magic Tour Freddie model these last few days. I myself was able to run some tests using the current WIP iteration of the model, and so far, results are somewhat promising, featuring Freddie's iconic chesty tone from that period in the higher range, and even proper falsetto voice! Things aren't perfect, there are still some aspects that need to be cleaned up using more audio for the dataset - the current iteration only featuring 10 minutes of data from Hungarian Rhapsody's CD release, but man... If that isn't the most promising model I've seen in quite some time, I don't know what is.
Let me know if you have any interest about this model, and I'll let MTC know about it.

@@nirvficpencapchew Yes, usually there's a need for quite heavy editing of the drum track in order to fit the actual song. In this case, there's almost nothing left from the original studio drum machine track.
