You're lucky. In Europe this is "scalper's edition" - not for fans...
Thumbs up for opening the box without damaging the paper cover. It hurts me to see people crushing the lid. It’s a shame that the EU version doesn’t have the foil box and no hardcover artbook. The cherry on the cake was the complete fail from Nintendo with their shop. First they postponed the sale several month to make a new webshop and then it crashed instantaneous when they start the preorder of the CE (without game). It took several days for them to recover the shop and then it was sold out when they came back online. I got my CE in the aftermarket for double the price. But I had to get it otherwise it would haunt me forever to have an incomplete collection of the XB CEs.

I regret not buying the special edition. I did not think I would absolutely love this game. GOTY for 2022 for me
I did get xenoblade 3 and i love it going get xenoblade 1 and 2 finally trying out the series.
You're so lucky your order went through. Both my computer and phone wouldn't let me check out. Now the game is out, here's to hoping they can bundle it together and release in multiple stores.

I’ve been thinking about getting a copy of the special edition. I already have the standard edition, but seeing that scalping prices dropped a lot and that the special edition doesn’t specifially include the game makes more sense that I buy it since I already have the standard edition physical game.

I wish that you could just buy steelbooks directly from Nintendo, especially with so many being European exclusives. It would be great if I could buy the Link's Awakening one for example, which was exclusive to Europe. Same with the Mario Kart one. Europe gets so many steelbooks that we never get here.

Dunno If there are some copyrights to art books. It is like reading books on YT, you must to have a license to make audiobooks. It is about collection, anyone who doesn’t buy this shall not know what is inside. It is how I see this. Cool vid. Game is separate, right?
Okay, I got something to say about this one--first off, it's a great looking collector's edition. You got a great outer box, steel book always nice and a nice art book to note(thanks for going through it btw--saves time for those wondering what's in it but are not sure they want to buy it). My major gripe though--what's the point of a collector's edition if you're not gonna include the game? I mean, the Sonic Mania Collector's Edition at least had a digital code but this one assumes you bought the game already? They couldn't afford to put in a simple little slot for the game? I hope this isn't the direction Nintendo is going for future collector's editions because I don't see the purpose of excluding the game. Thanks again for an excellent video Danny.
