The enemy can't muddy spirit of God which is the drink that jesus gives? Is this a joke. The bible says, "on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it"...*will not* is pretty clear to me.
Pastor you are wrong, I don't think this Is a spirit, it's just an attitude, if you are willing to make no difference, but absolom was dearly loved by King David, when he was killed by Joab, David sorrowed when he died, calling absolom, "my dear son, absolom". As a pastor or leader it is important that just because a fervent disruptor has stolen the hearts of your flock (congregation) it's important to believe that your ego isn't held in what your congregation thinks of you, but what God thinks of you. It definitely is a spirit. Because it will go person to person. When it is confronted in one, and either leaves, or the person refuses to listen, and leaves with it, you will see it pop up in another. And you will know because a good humble Christian (who by nature does not have the traits of undermining the authority of the church and the pastor), suddenly starts doing it. We have fought this spirit out of our church 5 times in the last 3 years. Once the person left. The other times, just the spirit left, and the people remained, not causing the confusion and conflict anymore.
U are speaking the truth mot just in the church.God. told me that the man i was dealing with has a spirit of Absalom.
