Always loved the iconic Roar. Grew up with the 90s series but have also seen some from the 60s as well as the one from the 50s that started it all. 2014 though has to be my favorite. The snappy opening but with the bellowing ending is satisfying to hear. Plus you could feel the bass of the roar in the Theater.
The 98 roar fits so well, surprisingly. I think its the echoing, trumpet-like nature of the 98 roar. It feels more like a scream than a roar. Fits the vibe of those 2 scenes better....like Godzilla is venting all his rage, rather than just roaring for intimidation
I forgot how terrifying '54 sounded, 'cause it's been a while since I've watched it, but now it's meta AF because it's the same roar from Minus One. Lol
The frequency of sound from a creature that size would probably venture into infrasound, too low for us to hear. In that case, human brain liquefaction might be an effective Godzilla weapon!

It’s indeed 1954 roar.
Yes, and it's the perfect tribute since this is the 70-year anniversary of Gojira! It sounds so much more menacing and guttural to me as well.
The original is REALLY good. Kinda crazy how well that holds up.

This is the one that come to my mind every time I think of Godzilla
I definitely agree. It’s the purists of them all.👍
My favorite was 1984-1994, it actually matches really well.
1954, showa, heisei and the first roar with Zilla fits so well
You should've done a separate 1992-1995 one. The roar changes to a similar roar as the Showa one, but it is different from the first 3 Heisei movies
It is showa, but just more pitches and bass
2014 version with a bit of music after Godzilla roars, that's really cool! Adds a spooky feel, Good job Hollywood!
I like the modern roar but his 1999-2004 is my favorite!
The best syncing and selection for the roars I've seen yet!
Gotta go with the 2014 one. It just hits different.
It's the little growls at the end of 2014-2024 that absolutely completes it for me 🔥🔥🔥
1998 sounds really good somehow
1999-2004 is my favorite. So haunting!
Same my favorite Godzilla was to Tokyo sos version
1954 is perfect for minus one
I love how the video ended with Godzilla (2014-2024) humming sound after he roared
That second roar from 1954 revealed that they had a lot of pent-up angst and aggression back in the day.
The ‘54 roar is basically the same in the movie but it has a remix into it
El Rugido del 1954 el original es muy Épico me encanta ese ruigido , me da escalofríos al escucharlo
Confirmo 😎
Being modeled after Heisei, i thought I'd like it the most, but for some reason the Zilla roar just sounds right.
1954 was my favorite and i just started watching
You can really see the trend of Godzilla roars going from loud bombastic static meant to covey a nuclear bomb towards a more gigantic animalistic roar
Fun fact: the filmmaker of Godzilla: Minus One didn’t create a Godzilla roar, he just played the original 1954 Godzilla roar over loud speakers and just recorded the audio.
98 roar works surprisingly well, millenium one is a classic and monsterverse roar is fantastic for this
The 84-94 one is superb, the screech followed by that rumble, it’s perfection.
1954 heisei and 1998 has nice fits
I thought that both the roar and the atomic breath in Minus One were the best, ever.
1962 to 1975 is perfect since I grew up watching showa era movies
1:24 DAMN, WHOA. That this is cool
Either 1998 or 1999-2004, mainly because of how loud they feel.
I reckon the heisei roars and the first couple ones matched him the most. It’s just the deeper the roar, the more it matches him
Loved the ending roar always gives me chills to hear that iconic roar
Millenium I think will always remain my favorite. So much power behind it. Monsterverse close second

The 1998 godzilla sound very unique and loud

Why do people always use the more light weighted version of millennium goji's roars?
Godzilla minus one as same Godzilla 1954 roar
The 1984 roar is my favorite but I also like the last part of the 2014 roar. It sounds like an electric violin or the bass
Zilla and MonsterVerse fit a lot better than i expected
If they would combine the one from 62 and 98 it would be dope
