    Maybe you can expand on this, but most of the focus is on the acquisition (pressing the shutter or the record button) part of the process. Reviewers mostly skip past the post-processing for each camera. In this day and age someone who is skilled in the latter (given that the starting point is good) can get amazing results from "beginner level" cameras. I believe most beginners underestimate the post-processing part, which is why you for instance get people complaining about "noisy images" when zoomed in to 100%. (Fully understandable, they are used to smartphones.) What makes Fujifilm cameras great for beginners is that they are mostly "what you see is what you get" - if you use the film emulations and JPEG - little post-processing is needed.
