There appears to be a large swath of unpatriotic Americans commenting on this thread. You see patriotic Americans regard our military men and women with respect and our fallen soldiers with the reverence they deserve.
Their final resting place is sacred ground which is why laws were created to ensure these fallen heroes would continue to receive their due respect in their final resting place and they would never be used as political pawns.
Only an unpatriotic vile individual would bring a camera crew as they trample across the graves of our veterans to shoot a campaign ad while smiling with a thumbs up.
It is absolutely IRRELEVANT if the families of a few soldiers invited Trump to disrespect their family member’s grave, the families of the others did not.
But again, Trump did call our fallen heroes “suckers and losers” so this behavior is not surprising. What is stunning and despicable is the number of American citizens that condone this behavior.

Trump is the one who negotiated a withdrawal date. Biden delayed it because NOTHING had been arranged by Trump administration for the withdrawal. The Talibans threatened that if the US were not leaving, people would die. Trump was told that Russia had mercenaries' killing US soldiers in Afghanistan. First, he said he did not know - I guess too busy watching TV and playing golf - and when it was proven that he was given that information, he said Putin would not do that.
Every time, Trump has failed America and endangered the people in so many ways: soldiers in Afghanistan, Covid - America is one of the country where more people died -, the classified docs in an insecure location ie. Mar-a Lago with Trump discussing the content with civilians, Trump taking money from foreign governments, etc

The decision to go into Afghanistan happened before Trump took office, and Trump wasn't around when Biden made the decision when to leave, and how to leave from Afghanistan, which was a very costly disaster... 13 dead soldiers, $86 billion in U.S. military hardware left behind, and over 9,000 Americans left behind to fend for themselves!

The family of a Green Beret who died by suicide after serving eight combat tours and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery expressed concern on Wednesday that Donald J. Trump’s campaign had filmed his gravesite without permission as Mr. Trump stood in an area where campaign photography isn’t allowed.
Relatives of Master Sgt. Andrew Marckesano issued their statement two days after Mr. Trump’s visit, which also included a confrontation between members of the Trump campaign and an Arlington employee. The former president’s campaign took video in a heavily restricted section of the cemetery known as Section 60, which is largely reserved for the fallen veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars
