What's really interesting though Is how we were so blinded by Deok Su malicious intent that we hardly notice Sang Woo often showing his true colors, Up until the semi finals that we finally realize that he is just as If not more cold-hearted than Deok Su could ever be (And that's saying much if i do say so myself)
Sang Woo is just a typical Korean. Koreans made a lot of characters like this because it's so realistic in their environment. Most Koreans would act like Sang Woo in that situation.
Even in the act of being evil there are levels, intelligences and styles. I'd trust a Deoksu, so to speak,. Ore than a Sang-Woo, as a Deoksu is honest about being evil, so there are no surprises. A Sang-Woo on the other hand might try to be a wolf in sheepskin by pretending to be a friend.
Apparently he had to gain a lot of weight for his character so with tug of war and everything he got sick because the weight gain affected his body a lot but honestly go him he was awesome
The ironic thing is, Deok Su died a less painful death than he would've had if he stayed in the real world. He just fell to his death in the game. While had he stayed, they would harvest his organs out. In conclusion, Squid Game paints an excellent social commentary.
I think Deok Su's death was still very painful. With that fall, all his members have been broken. Maybe he didn't even passed away immediately and die eventually in awful horrible pains.

He is an arse and he is selfish but still get to say his run is great. He is seemly just good in every games and able to learn to minimise the risks. I kinda wish he could have a showdown against Sang Woo since both of them are smart murders in their own ways. Still would say he is just eliminated due to bad luck though. Should he killed just a few less people he probably would have made it through the bridge.
