I have a 2015. X1. Just spent 2800.00 to replace the front differential carrier. And that was with a used one. Car has 136 k miles on it.
i have 284000 km on my x1 no plans on changing vehicle. very reliable. you cant treat it like a toyota you must maintain it but
its worth it. dont let video scare you

@@JorgeRodriguez-qs1wz depends on the milage. find an indy garage that works on bmw and have them check it over. Did you get a history of maintainence from other owner? I change my oil every 10K kilometeres. Oil changing is important. enjoy your car, and give it the beans regurlaly
@@Jim007baker I can't stand that everyone recommends oil changes every 10k miles in the US. I try to do it every 3k miles no matter what car or the oil I use
@@JorgeRodriguez-qs1wz I change mine at 10k KILOMETERS. I don’t think changing oil at 3k miles will ever hurt ur car

i am in the procces in buying a second hand bmw x1 2017 model.Has enyone heard about problems in manual transmision gear box? They say that it becomes very heavy and the replace cost is huge......
Had the x 1 2013 , loved it drove awesome. But fell apart after a 100,000 kms repairs over 10,000 $. Sold got a Toyota Hybrid Camry 2021. The Beemer handled better buy no repairs trumps it.
Only x1 ill buy is 2017-2020. Ive had a 2013 that the timing chain gave out. Bmw seemed to patch engine issues from 2017
does not every single car out there have common issues?! I mean you can even look up popular Lexus and Toyota models and get a similar list
